This was the best hostel experience I have ever had. The facilities are great, and the sense of community is amazing, I felt at home and was sad I was only staying for a couple of nights. Next time I return to this side of the world I know where to stay, can't recommend this enough. Amazing job Liz in making this space real ! Much love, Mariana

Ballyeamon barn is a special spot! The large kitchen table is a place where travellers from all over the world gather, share stories and meals together while all experiencing the unparalleled hospitality of Liz and friends. The accommodations are comfortable and the surrounding area is stunning. We were lucky enough to experience a wonderful storytelling/music session on Saturday night. We miss the barn already and we’ll treasure the friendships we made!

Staying at the Barn was the highlight of my Europe trip so far. Liz was so kind and went the extra mile to make my trip enjoyable, and the scenery at the location of the Barn is beautiful. I would certainly stay again if I'm back in Northern Ireland again

I chose Ballyeamon Barn as I knew it to be the home of Storytelling in County Antrim. I am an English storyteller. Although COVID restrictions meant no face to face telling in a group Liz Weir generously introduced me to several local tellers. The hostel facilities were clean and spacious. I walked on beaches and in the Glens, visited the sea bird sanctuary on Rathlin, also watched grey seals, discovered much history of Northern Ireland. Hostel well placed for exploring with own transport .
