GREAT hostel! The room was clean and very spacious even for 12 people. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious! Nice pool. Beach 10 min walking. I definitely recommend this hostel if you’re visiting Pemuteran.

Very nice facilities. The pool and staff were amazing. WiFi was rather spotty. But would stay here again!

Great hostel with an amazing pool and good location, walking distance from beeches and boat port where you can go diving or snorkelling. Only a 10min taxi drive away from Pemuteran village. The manager is extremely helpful and gives great advice on what to visit. Helped us organise our scuba diving and transport back to south bali all for a great price! Thank you

The manager was really helpful finding me a cheap ride back to Denpensar, which I really appreciated. The breakfast is good and the pool is nice. The only downside is the location.

Hostel was cleaned every day and was more like a hotel actually, had good bathroom and shower area to get ready. They leave you mosquito repellents in the room which is great! Staff are amazing and super friendly. Area is VERY quiet and not a lot going on so bare that in mind, although that is the appeal to the place. Lovely pool and lovely restaurant although you do get swarmed with flies at certain points of the day although I’m not sure what can be done about that. Would 100% recommend

Bananaleaf is lovely, recently built infrastructure and lovely garden and pool. The location can be tricky for who is using public bus. Brekkie is good but could be more generous in fruits and coffee/tea. There is free water refill and new mountain bikes. Gatot, the owner/manager is very active and attentive. The downest point, in my opinion, is that the snorkling trips don’t have a standaed price, creating discomfort amonsgt guests. Actually, the whole area has that reputation these days.

    Very Good

This is a pleasant hostel with clean rooms and a nice pool area. Bathrooms and showers are good too. It did however feel like the pleasant, always smiling staff lived in fear of their never present manager. Simple requests like asking for a spare cup weren’t allowed because the manager needed to charge for it. Also additional services like snorkelling and taxis were extortionate. The expensive, luxury resort next door offered a cheaper taxi.

Unless you’re planning on scuba diving you may not want to stay at Bananaleaf. Not much going for it other than the quality of the facilities. The food is very mediocre, there is absolutely no atmosphere, and the location is fairly removed. I’m not a partier but I do enjoy doses of human interaction. The staff are pleasant enough but there was nothing about the place that made me want to come back. If you want to be in this area, find yourself a place closer to Pemuteran beach.
