Excellent hostel walking distance to the Szechenji baths, with a convenience store round te corner and a great hungarian restaurant Paprika only 200m close by. Great base to explore Budapest.

Stayed in this hostel to visit the Szechenyi bath which is within walking distance from here. The facility is old, but they have a well-equipped kitchen and roomy common areas with big tables and sofas. You get a personal locker in your room although it's relatively small. To go back in the hostel, you have to ask the staff inside to buzz you in as you don't get the key to the front door.

While the room itself was ok but absolutely NO soundproofing and every time the girl in the room next to me coughed or sniffled I could hear it as if she was in the room with me. I was also in a room by the reception and guests can not access the building themselves (no key/swipe card etc.) so every time someone wanted the front gate unlocked or the front door the doorbell was very loud- followed by all the noise of people coming inside. Unisex communal bathroom- not clean. 1 female toilet for e

There are no windows to let some fresh air into the bedrooms from outside of the building. Terrible air conditioning, Bedroom smelled smoky, some weird people came around, couldn't sleep a minute.

Incredibly rude staff. The guys who work here (and it is pretty much all guys, I didn’t see any girls) give off a super creepy vibe- especially the dreadlocks guy and the short Spanish-speaking guy with tattoos. No atmosphere at all. I found a Russian guy sleeping in my bed when I came back at 11PM. Toilets always have pee on the seat. My bedsheets had dried, crusty snot on them. If you’re looking for a really bad hostel experience that you will dread coming back to at night- this is your place!

The stay was worst . We had the booking for 2 nights but just stayed for one . It is not at all comfortable for couples and even the single person. There are far better hostels near Kelvin ter in Budapest than this one . There was no space to even keep 2 suitcases in the room . The environment was wiered . There is only one toilet to share amongst many and it leads to huge queue .. highly disappointed. The place was literally annoying and horrible and they have worst stairs to use.
