A very nice most inexpensive hostel in the heart of Paris. No frills metal bunk beds but perfectly clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. What’s not to like?!

Single room was absolutely fine for the price paid. The door locked, quilt was warm and the lights all worked. Unsure if other bad reviews have come from people in shared dorms, but the single occupancy room absolutely did the job.

Well, I understand the other reviews. First thing that got me was the toilet closet. It is only on every other floor. And the sink is in your room. It's common in Europe but it's still a shock. The breakfast is very basic because there is no kitchen; it consists of bread, fruit and juice. For me, this hostel is best when you spend the majority of the time outside exploring the city. They will kick you out of your room for cleaning 11-3, so you have no choice but to get out in the morning.

Place was a bit strange with the Corvid19 stuff happening ? I was mostly glad to book and inexpensive place in Paris for my return flight. I staid here 18 mo prior. Kind of knew what I was getting into. However, with so few people in the hostel, they could easily have put me in a convenient double room, without a roomate - or have changed me to one when I requested, esp. since room was in the adjacent building, on the top floor, without last floor elevator access & the wc 1 flr down (!?)

The hostel is basic, but to. Only one plug socket in the room. There's a shower and a sink in the room and a separate toilet on each floor. However, the noise levels, oh my god. We stayed on a Saturday night on the 2nd floor and the noise from outside was unbearable. Even with earplugs all we could hear was music, screaming, shouting, laughing and talking. The noise level was so loud there was no way you'd ever get any sleep. Worst nights sleep I've ever had in a hostel, but it was £15 each

Malisimo.

Place is very messy there is rubbish on the way to the rooms and what can only be described as a building site. Lift is extremely slow and walks are very thin so you can hear everything from other rooms. Fine for one night but I would not be staying there for more than that

    - The rooms are 'cleaned' from 11-15hours when you are locked-out of the rooms, but when you return, the showers are still dirty and the rooms still look like a run-down motel. Sure the beds are made and floors probably cleaned, but the place is very disgusting. The showers are very dirty/old and have not been maintained at all - The beds are cheap metallic beds, so any movement at all is amplified and audible - Staff are unresponsive as it is a one person job (for 2 hostels)

I wasn't expecting much here and was just looking for a place close to Gare de Lyon for the night as a pit stop. That being said it was still the worst hostel I've ever stayed at. Sketchy looking from the outside and didn't get much better inside. Room was 2 beds but still cramped. One outlet and safe for the room. Dirty toilet in the hallway. Printer was busted so couldn't get a receipt. Cheap sheets and linens. Would not stay again. Book at your own risk.

I was there during a heat wave affecting most of Europe , there was not A/C in the room. Besides for a private room you still have to share the toilet.
