I advise this good address in the center of Bath. The reception offered a good welcome and all informations and services that I need. I appreciated an excellent breakfast with fruits, bread, jam, butter, eggs, yogourts, cereals, juice, all hot drinkings. Share space and bedroom were clean.

I stayed for just one night but wish I could have stayed for more! It was my first ever experience staying in a hostel and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The only negative thing I experienced was that my bunk was next to an open window I felt too awkward to close and, being a Friday night, I was hearing people in the street being rowdy up until 1am. I know that if I had stayed another night the staff would have been more than happy for me to move bunks, so really not that bad at all

I love this place. Buffet breakfast is free each morning: cereal, toast and fruit, tea coffee. Simple but great. Dorms are big which is perfect and all beds have curtains. Friendly feeling in a great location

Bath is a small town so everything was walking distance. The hostel was very family oriented, there were a lot of kids when we stayed. The free breakfast buffet was really good, boiled eggs, bread, cereals, spreads. We stayed in a 10 bedroom dorm but it was never full, they had big spacious rooms too! Came with a hairdryer and a fan. Overall enjoyed our stay! Would’ve loved more of an atmosphere but since everything is so close u can just walk to bars etc. :)

My first time in a hostel (65 years) but thought it was good value, quiet, comfortable bed, spacious room, good shower, TV and tea/ offed making in my en suite room. My daughter’s room was large with a basin, but it was a camp bed on legs which was a bit strange. Great central location close to all shops, restaurants and not far from the train station. Much more reasonably priced than Travel Lodge etc. The free breakfast would be suitable for most people.

The stay at the hostel was comfortable and the included breakfast was nice as well. But please don't support plastic waste by offering single-use plastic cups at the breakfast buffet. Please use drinking glasses instead.

    Very Good

    17 Jun 2019
Pros: great location, comfortable beds, clean linen, solid breakfast. Cons: info on Hostelworld website contradicts both info on YMCA website–see their access statement–and reality (esp. regarding which dorms are same-sex, and the beds in the dorms are not the 'pod' beds advertised), no soap in women's bathroom on my floor throughout my stay (staff was notified), and the staff I encountered seemed to be annoyed at my mere presence from the second I walked in the door.

Good location, but could be hard for some to locate, the bed was very comfy. However, there was only one plug socket in our room and the window did not shut, the hallways had a morbid smell and there was only one toilet per floor which was not ideal. Overall, it was average

There was some sort of group trip happening during my stay. So it was constantly loud and the toilets were always clogged and unflushed. Might not be the fault of the hostel but the amount of kids who ran around loud and uncontrolled makes me sure I won't go back again.

There’s an electricity problem on our first day stay. Staff just asked us to use the hair dryer in the hallway as it is an independent socket. The room sis very noisy. Sound proof is very poor. Parties until midnight. Some drunk guys walked in the wemon’s shower while I was taking shower. Overall, it’s not a present stay.
