We're nestled among the independent shops of Broad Street, a short 12-minute stroll from Bath Spa train or bus station – take a local bus for three stops to reach us. We had a wonderful stay at the YMCA in Bath. The staff were amazing, especially with our little boy. Our room was plenty big enough for the three of us. It was lovely and clean as were the bathrooms. The breakfast was tasty and filled us up ready for our day of sightseeing. We parked in the Charlotte street long stay car park, which is only a 5 minute walk from the Hostel. Really great hostel.

    Fabulous

Very clean and although solo female traveller I felt and was safe, with 24 hour staff visible. Hard to find initially as is situated in a small square off main street and access is through short alleyway, watch out for YMCA signs, but excellent location in the heart of the city centre. No sockets in room to charge mobile though.

    Fabulous

Good: Location was better than we expected. There was a good selection of food at breakfast with tea, coffee and wat available throughout the night. Being an en-suite room meant we had tea making facilities in the room at no extra charge which we were not aware of-nice touch. Towels were also included and provided. Microwaves were available to use in the dining area along with cutlery and crockery. Only slight downsides were: Only one plug socket. The windows would not fully close and lock.

    Fabulous

Stayed at the bath YMCA for 2 nights I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm, bed was comfy and clean. There were 4 other people in the dorm however plenty of room. Also great they had 3x hairdryers provided in the dorm. Downside was the showers were cold Location was really good, not even a 10 minute walk to the station and shops. I did witness another individual abuse the receptionist; so security can definitely be improved. Overall would stay again

Overall not a bad experience, but the forms are very tight. Had a nice lobby downstairs. The bathrooms are decent and the showers were tricky and hard to get a hot shower.

Okay hotel. Overall, not very clean compared to most other hostels I stayed in. Good location and helpful staff. Next time, I think I'd prefer to look for a cleaner stay in Bath.

The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast provided was decent for a hostel so no complaints there! However, I enter my room and the smell is repugnant. I open the bed curtains to find a lady without a home in my bed and she yells at me, "open up the window it stinks in here!" The shower was ice cold. Dried snot and mold all over the walls. Old men waiting for us in the lobby to come back from the clubs and asking us personal questions. Big yikes!`
