Dramatic view from the front garden of Aughris Beach. Very clean facilities. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Our room was quite small with no space to put down luggage. Slanted ceiling over the bed area was too low for 5’1” lady to stand up without a bump in the head at night! Bathroom was fairly roomy and good hot shower. The location is literally the end of the road. The adjacent pub restaurant had quite good food. Avoid early in the week as it is very quiet and no music.

The location is fabulous, the pub is lovely, but my real problem is the room in the b&b. The mattress is well past its sell by date, felt like a camp bed, needless to say there was not much sleep had!. Our room at the back of the b&b had a slant in the ceiling and the size of the room meant it was impossible to walk around the bed. This should only be a single room. I love the location and the pub and will be back again but I wouldn't recommend the b&b, you'd be better off camping!
