It is amongst the most decent, quite and clean hostels in Edinburgh. Super clean rooms and bedding sets. Although the toilets were a bit old fashioned, they were tidy too. I would definitely recommend.

over all a pleasant enough one night stay. The toilet and shower facilities could do with an upgrade. Good sized lockers to fit a large rucksack which is a big bonus over other nearby hostels. The staff are very friendly and helpful and know what they are doing. I would recommend this hostel for those looking for cheap friendly accommodation

I loved the venue! Such a brilliant idea to turn an old church into a hostel with a funky decor. Very comfortable beds and big, functional lockers. Dorms, however, were really hot and stuffy as there's no any other ventilation than a simple ventilation grid. Some facilities, e.g. toilets or some lockers may need upgrading soon. Very nice and helpful staff. Good location.

I was on the main floor and it was really really noisy. There was some sort of student group stating in multiple rooms and they would blast loud music and run up and down the halls shouting. Could hear every door shut and every footstep. Earplugs might help with this but if you’re a really light sleeper be mindful of this. The location was really quiet and in a nice neighbourhood. About 10mins walk to Haymarket train station and about 25mins walk from the city centre. Overall had a decent stay.

It’s a cool place because of its story but such a bad experience because of some of the stuff. Quite rude and not caring at all.

The facility where we stayed we as expected but the experience of the nights stay was very poor. Two people in the dorm room were Loud and Drinking through the night- I arrived back at 2 am so I do not feel i am being unreasonable. Nothing done by management (even with a rule against alcohol) so my two night stay turn into one night (without refund) as I did not feel I could stand another night of that. I would not recommend this hostel after the way they treated issues arising and the safety.
