Great place to stay. Super close to the V & A waterfront and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were super friendly and it’s kept really clean. They also offer tons of tour options that you can book right from reception.

Good starting hostel in Cape Town. The view above the sea is amazing and you can easily walk by all the hotspots around the Harbour and beach. The hanging out area in the hostel is very big and good to get in contact with others.

The location is very good and the staff friendly. HOWEVER, nothing else is good in the hostel: the structure is old and poorly maintained, there are clothes and papers scattered everywhere (including bathrooms and social areas), cleanliness is on the edge (could be much better), Included breakfast is mediocre, there is no rule for quiet time, so on some nights it was impossible to sleep with the noise coming from the bar that is inside the hostel.

Very old furniture, I guess they didn’t reniew anything since they have been priced Hostal of the year in 2003. Beds are extremely uncomfortable and the matrasses seem to be older than old, ceiling has wholes and light is not working out well. Of course when you’re sleeping in a hostal you don’t expect something very comfortable but for the price that isn’t that low in comparison you should get a minor service.

Amazing because it's near everything. But it's not neat, dogs in the kitchen 😐 doors with holes and dirty pillows. It seems like it's been a while since any work was done to it. If they would just completely remodel or renovate it, it would be perfect coz it's affordable and in a walking distance to Seapoint, Cape Town Cbd and the V&A Waterfront.

Stayed in a double room. Building is big with terrible acoustics. Every single step on the stairs and hallway could be heard from our room. The floorboards creaked. The door to the room was broken. Had to shove it open and force it closed - causing even more banging and noise. The whole place is massive, noisy, and lacks any personality. The pool is rank. The kitchen always seemed untidy and a little unclean with things hard to find. The WiFi was patchy and the breakfast is basic and boring.
