Nice hostel with lots of outdoor seating. Lots of guests who were very social. They staff was great and helpful and gave me a wonderful, detailed map and descriptions of where to go. The facilities, showers and bathrooms are nice. I personally would spent the extra dollar for a smaller dorm. Everyone has their own thing going on and i just wouldn’t stay in a 12 bed dorm again. I met some really great people while here. I was sad to leave so quickly, but I would definitely like to return.

What a sick place to stay! The staff especially lillyana (correct me if I’ve spelt your name wrong chika)made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Very bubbly and lively person! Didn’t have our yellow fever shots and she hooked us up with the contacts and made the process super cheap and easy! Kelvin the owner is a top bloke aswell! Super clean and a cool vibe at this hostel. Thanks heaps team! We’ll be back!

The hostel was in a great location. Only wish my room had air conditioning, but Medellin summer temperatures seem to be sort of mild. The staff was incredible, especially at the front desk (best I have met in all my travels). Keep up the great spirit.

Absolutely loved this hostel! The staff were super friendly and accommodating and all spoke great English. They organised excursions and trips for us and had great advice on the best things to do. The hostel also has a great vibe in the evenings with relaxed socialising and it’s easy to make friends. About a 20 minute walk to the Main Street with bars/ restaurants.

We ended up staying at the Black Sheep for a week and loved it! It has a great atmosphere with lots of chill out and outside areas to socialise - including a TV room. The hostel was really clean and the kitchen is the best equipped one I’ve come across in five months, which made cooking in easy. The staff are super friendly and helpful too.

    Very Good

    29 Jul 2019
The staff was great. They were all super helpful and happy to provide extra information. The beds were a mess.. super noisy, cheap materials and very bad for a good night’s sleep. Meeting fellow travelers wasn’t the easiest at this place as there are common areas but are not really designed to talk to other people, rather watching tv or laying on a hammock with your phone, or that’s what most people did. Location was good, staff were great.
