Pleasant friendly hostel in a nice part of Medellin. We stayed in a private which was very clean. Good facilities for cooking with a supermarket 5 minutes away. Trips can be booked from the hostel as well.

Great hostel with nice rooms and friendly staff. The vibe felt a bit weird. There's not a great social scene here, so if you're looking to make friends I'd suggest another place like el patios.

I stayed the weekend at Black Sheep and really enjoyed it! It was Halloween weekend so the hostel was packed, just like all hostels in the neighborhood. Note that if you’re looking to go out a lot, this hostel is further away from the bars than others, but still a doable walk or quick taxi. Make sure to sign up for the Guatapé day trip - it’s the best tour I’ve done in South America! Staff was accommodating and kind - I lost something in the laundry and the owner refunded my laundry cost.

    Very Good

Not the hostel I was looking for. The staff were friendly, however when i checked-in, the receptionist was clearly under the influence. Furthermore, plenty of sketchy (but in truth friendly and safe) characters lurking about. If you're looking to chill, then the hostel is fine. But its not the hostel if you want to engage with the city (although the tours organised are excellent)
