This was a very nice place to stay at. I would not at all hesitate to stay here again should I be in the area. It is comfortable, safe, affordable, has great atmosphere, and the owners are wonderful.

Bon Paul and Sharky's will always be my favorite place to stay in Asheville! It's close enough to downtown to take an Uber, but West Asheville is also a great spot to hang out!

Great spot in West Asheville along a busy strip of bars and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the dorm room quiet. The only downside it is the small number of outlets in the actual dorm room, which a couple of power strips would address

Absolutely incredible hostel! I went with my friends for Halloween and we met some amazing people to chill with. We were a 10 minute at most streetcar ride away from the city center, and walking distance from a few stores and shops. The hostel had bar crawls scheduled and other activities happening around town up on a public board. The hostel itself was mostly clean, and they offered both breakfast and dinner for $5 a pop. Only thing I wish I could get was a lock for the lockers in the dorms.

Staff was accommodating. In a good location, convenient to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Stayed in a private room, security was good. Would recommend.

Location is great. I recommend the Retrocade bar for some classic arcade games and the Odd Cafe for coffee in the morning. The facilities are ok - bathroom needs to be updated. Free earplugs were a nice touch.

This was my first hostel experience! Pre-paid check in was easy and quick to do. I got there early to check out Asheville. Very conveniently located on Haywood. Lots of cool shops and eats there. The staff were helpful to answer my questions about the accommodations. One note about this place is you can hear EVERYTHING people are doing. Upstairs or downstairs I heard doors slamming, opening, creaking. You’ll want some earplugs. Otherwise, a cheap stay at a great location!

No options to charge devices. Not enough lockers for each guest. Not particularly clean. One shower for up to 17 guests, 5 live in staff and other unknown people who had the door code. 4 parking spots total. Mold in upstairs bathroom. Musty smell in bedrooms. Staff space take up 1/3 fridge space. Comforters aren’t washed after each guest. Barcade and coffee shop next door were the only good things.

This isn’t a hostel, it is a house disguised as a hostel. A VERY dirty house. Immediately upon entering the building I felt respiratory discomfort from the mold, mildew, and dust covering just about every visible surface in the space. Not only in the room, but in the common area as well. I say area because there was only one true common area in the house. The upstairs bathroom with a broken shower. Expect to share one downstairs with 17 people as well as the 5 live in staff who are not friendly.
