I had such a great time at this hostel! Would highly recommend to go there. Location is great and the staff extremly friendly (like almost all japanese people :D). It‘s a great place for meeting international travelers! I‘m definetely coming back again!

My first hostel experience. I was a bit worried by the capsule like setup for all the sleeping spaces. But once inside felt completely comfy and slept well. You can hear your above neighbors moving. One suggestion I’d like to make. Place some cushioning foam st the edge of the shelf over the mattress and at the edge of the bed area for climbing out. I kept hitting my head due to the small space. Otherwise. Thank you!!!!

Location is great. 3 mins from the subway station by walking. easy to find. The deco and atmosphere is very cool. The fan inside every capsule is very very loud. So get the ear plug from the reception beforehand. The indivisial space is very small. I hit my head twice. The staff was very nice and busy. Not for everyone. better to book one night to see if you like it or not.

Such a great idea to have capsules amongst a library of books, loved it! A couple of things to mention though - the capsules do open up into the main common area (including the cafe/bar and the area where people would be sitting reading). While they do provide a small secure safe inside the capsule, there is no large locker to store any bigger valuables either. Overall enjoyable stay though, again - loved the books!

It has a good location - 2 minutes from Senso-ji, close to the subway station, good view of Skytree. However, I think paying ¥8600/night for a bunk bed that is not breathable at all. The hostel itself wasn’t warm but the bunks were like an inferno. I enjoyed the location but wouldn’t stay again.

It was really nice and fun to sleep inamongst the books! Everything was spotless and the location great! Will add tho that i felt there was more care put into the ‘image’ and ‘vibe’ of the place than comfort and ammenities etc... just think of it like sleeping in a gentrified coffee shop! This was only a tiny thing tho and would recommend for the experience! Best to come as a solo traveller/ couple as there was a sort of tabboo regarding talking in the common area!

There is some charm with the wall of books and nice couches at the end of the room. But to help future travellers I would mention a few extra things about the place. It is just one big room lined with sleeping boxes with only a curtain (free earplugs upon check in). Conversation non-existent in my 4 night stay. Box ventilation was a PC fan (sounds like your head is inside a PC). And unfortunately it's a very uncomfortable bed (the person above me felt the same at 530am). But superfriendly staff.

    - website made me pay a much higher price than the actual hostel price: £50 a night... when the hostel is actually around £30 a night - stairs to upper bed scary to climb when tired - 50 people staying in the same room, not noise insulated and only 2/3 showers for everyone - rooms are boiling hot and the fan doesnt really work but is super loud, they dont even make your bed and there is a duvet but no duvet cover, only another sheet (super unhygenic) - nice common area with the books
