The best hostel I have ever stayed in!! Everything in the hostel was so well thought out and made my stay better than I could’ve ever imagined. The staff is very attentive and receptive to their guests needs and accommodations. There is so much information about what to do while in Belfast. I can’t recommend this hostel enough. It is even worth it to add Belfast to your itinerary just so you can experience how wonderful the Botanical Backpackers hostel is!

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!! The owner was so kind and welcoming when I came in. There were free bananas, tangerines, coffee and tea at all times as well as pasta, peanut butter and other community food items. The living room couch was so comfortable I fell asleep on it and the other guests I shared my room with were super kind and gave me great ideas to check out in Belfast. Location was also 10/10, being close to the cathedral district and across from Queens University!

This is hands down the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Erika the owner has hostel running blood in her veins and ive never seen guests so well looked after. With breakfast we were served brilliant advice and hilarious stories. it was so good that we changed our plans to stay for even longer! the place is super tidy and the beds are more comfortable than my own. if you do go then buy some homemade earings and request a tin whistle solo if you're feeling down. (Crochet lessons are compulsory)

This place feels like home the moment you walk in. The staff went well beyond what was required and made me feel so welcome (vegan strawberries and cream + excellent brekkie). If you want to make friends and be social this is the hostel for you! I came for AVA Festival by myself and ended up having a whole crew to go to the gig with. Thank you so much Erica and Kitty, you’re both legends and made my stay in Belfast unforgettable.

Excellent stay and super friendly hosts at Botanical Backpackers. Super charming old house right near the college and botanical gardens. Hosts were also super great with keeping gluten free items separate from the rest, there is even a dedicated toaster which was awesome :) A bit of a walk up towards the city center area (15 minutes or so) but the college area was also wonderful.
