Although I stayed one day, I enjoyed staying. As my flight was early morning departure, I couldn’t have breakfast. I want to have it next time. Thank you for everything!

The best hostel ever! Super comfy beds, cozy rooms, good sized lockers, and handy key-pads to get into the rooms. The kitchen, dining room and living room have a “homey” feel, with cards on the walls from guests. They have labels to write your name on food, it felt safe to leave and none of mine was stolen. The owner and employees are all so friendly, as a young person travelling alone I felt welcomed. The guests were lovely, all being very chatty. This hostel has the best atmosphere in Belfast!

Relaxing atmosphere in this small but cosy hostel. Beds are very comfortable and breakfast was good quality. I was impressed by the non dairy alternatives provided and herbal teas.

Botanical Backpackers is a charming and personable little hostel. The staff are all friendly and accommodating with lots of local knowledge and recommendations. Plants abound and there’s is even a little back garden to sit in! As it's a converted old Victorian townhouse, don’t expect grand elevators or ballroom-sized toilets. There are two toilets and two showers with lots of hot water, and they even offer a laundry service for £5.

The hostel was tucked away in a quiet area, right by the botanical gardens and affordable tasty food options. The staff were incredibly kind, patient and helpful. Combined with the beautiful plants, decorative touches and provision of life-giving tea, they made this trip to Belfast a memorable and joyful one.

Super cute hostel. Staff were great! Very helpful and welcoming. No lockers in the rooms but the hostel has a chilled vibe (as do guests) so didn’t find this an issue. Otherwise facilities are good. Like I said, hostel is pretty chilled so if you’re looking for a party place I wouldn’t recommend. But still great to meet people! It is 10 min walk from the city center but it is super close to the university and botanic gardens which are lovely. Plenty of food places etc around too.
