Decent place and great value. Convenient pub at bottom floor. Can’t comment on location since we didn’t explore around there. I hadn’t stayed in a hostel before but me and my group filled a room so I knew my ‘roommates’. No issues.

Pros: Clean, good atmosphere, easy to mingle at the bar, music every night, easy check in/out process, simple cold breakfast provided. Cons: Like most hostels you have to bring your own towels (even hand towel) or rent them. Be prepared to pay for parking if you bring a car. Pros that could also be cons: We had a room directly above the bar so we could hear the music come through (personally I liked it). In a busy part of the city.

Cool. Outlets by the beds. A bit too small for 4 people but it's Ireland

For a motorcycle tour through Europe where you are trying to save a little occasionally - it worked. The shower was a bit annoying in that it had no soap dispenser and had a push button shut off after 45sec. So you have to soap down w/the dispenser by the sink before walking into the shower. It works, waters hot, but not the most productive means of having a shower. The facilities in the room were cleaner than outside the room. Not a bad stay.

Located close to the bus/train and really easy to get around on foot from the hostel. Since it’s located in a bar, there isn’t really anyone designated to the front desk. I didn’t really feel that welcome when I checked in and felt like I may not have gotten all of the information. I already knew everything I wanted to do so I didn’t need the staff’s help but if I had they weren’t really people I wanted to approach. The beds were also pretty short.

Was a very pleasant stay. The location is pretty perfect for getting around Cork, and is close to the Irish Rail train station making travelling to other towns very easy.

Parking was on the street or in a car park for 9€ for the whole day. The beds were super hard and while the room itself was adequately clean the kitchen was gross. I am surprised the kitchen sponge and towels didn’t get up and walk out on their own. The breakfast was just some cereal and toast which is totally fine, however, after I had a sip of orange juice I realised there was mold on my glass! Probably the worst hostel I have ever stayed in.
