Really great hostel, really great. Super helpful staff, awesome atmosphere with live music and open mic nights, great location. Single only knock is that the luggage compartments under the beds literally cannot be locked. It's a bit anxiety inducing. They do offer paid lockers that do lock but it would be a perfect 10/10 if you could lock the compartments meant to for your stuff. One small other thing is that you may need to go up like 6 sets of stairs to get to your room but thats no big deal

Great location, right bear the bus stop. Annoying having to pay for lockers if arriving early. Would be nice to have a hand towel in the bathroom. Bring ear plugs as is a noisy area with people drinking and construction in the morning

I was worried about the room being loud since the hostel is above a bar, but it was totally quiet. It was nice that they have lights and outlets at every bunk. It was great to have a bathroom in the room, but it was a little dirty. The TV room and kitchen could use a bit to be desired. Location was great and staff was helpful with recommendations.

Having the live music in the bar downstairs makes all the difference, great atmosphere there! Did not hear it to the room, so a good nights sleep. Room was small but use of underbed storage makes up for it. Security lockers available downstairs for a fee. Good location close to the city centre as well as transport. Thank you!

Older building with tight rooms with a very lively bar. Got a little warm in the rooms for me. Definitely an old place converted to work as a hostel. It’s got a fun bar and location is great but not a big fan of the rooms or bathroom set up.

    Very Good

Staff was friendly but our 3 person group got separated from each other even though we booked a room together. Rooms got hot & shower was mediocre. But noise level from outside was minimal.

We had a bad stay at this hostel. The washrooms were gross, the toilets were broken and we only had access to that one washroom in the whole hostel. The entire placed smelled like smoke ALL the time, clearly people just smoked in the hallways and rooms. The breakfast was literally a piece of bread with no hot coffee or clean cutlery. The only nice thing was the happy hour at the hostel from 5:00-8:00 all beers were four euros. But it’s for anyone to drink so stay somewhere else and drink here.

Dirty, noisy - not sure the room was cleaned, personal belongings of previous occupant there. The halls smelled of smoke, the kitchen was dirty, no tea towels or kitchen roll. the TV room (the only common area) was not inviting. Matress worst I’ve seen so far and bathroom could be better. I will not stay here again and would not recommend it to others - c**p scoring system as I would have liked to rate it less. For a visit to Ireland this is not a standard that should be represented
