First night in a new place as a solo traveller and all my anxieties were quietened when seeing how welcoming the hostel in. The rooms air-con and a private pod was everything I needed. The set up with a chill area between the two houses was well thought and a lovely place to get to know the people there under lanterns and stars. Recommended to anyone and everyone

Be aware that it’s self check in hostel so book online before you arrive. Can’t fault this hostel. Great location in town next to woolies, Kmart, Cole’s, Aldi, etc. Kitchen and toilet are new and clean. Plenty of privacy and space in dorm room cube units. Highly recommend.

Had a great time at Bunk Inn. All the people at the hostel were super friendly. It’s situated right next to a Cole’s and Woolies which is awesome and it’s a 5min walk into town.

I was recommended by someone as this hostel is simple but clean. But I found a bedbug when I went to bed. I caught it and threw away. However I was bit at 1.30 am and woken up by inches every 2 hours. I stayed just for rest a night and driving next morning but I didn’t sleep enough. I was so disappointed.

I have never experienced such a lack of security, cleanliness and management before. As two young women, it was incredibly concerning arriving to a hostel with such little security. There was no management at the hostel when we arrived and all doors were wide open for anyone to enter. On top of this, there was rubbish, dirt, and peoples belongings everywhere, so much so that it became a safety issue. We had no choice but to book another motel. We have emailed and are yet to receive any response.

This hostel is now a “self check-in” facility. There was no staff onsite our entire stay. We felt so unsafe we left after one night and forfeited our remaining night, opting to pay for a motel instead. The hostel is not secure, it was messy, there was rubbish piled up and there seemed to be random people sleeping on the lounge as you first walk in to the house part of the hostel. I contacted the hostel after my stay and received no reply. If you are female do not book!! Huge safety risk!!
