Cool place! It’s the first hostel I’ve been to in the states that really nails that European hostel feel/vibe. I love that it feels like a bit of a co-op community space for the Bend community too! Beds were clean, bathrooms were nice, kitchen was super well equipped. I’m 29, and definitely didn’t feel “too old” for this hostel.

This place was awesome!! I have so many good things to say about it, but my only warning is it seems like they have live concerts in the backyard most nights in the summer. Which is totally cool, but I was in town mostly to mountain bike so I was exhausted every night and wanted to pass out right when I got back because I was waking up early each morning. If I had known about the concerts I may have stayed somewhere else just so I could have gotten better sleep, but overall it's super rad

Great location! Just a ten minute walk from downtown and 20 minutes from the Old Mill district. So many great activities in walking distance. The food trucks in the courtyard are also great. Staff and other travelers were very friendly. The only issue I had was the bathroom situation. For the amount of people staying at the bunk house I found more often than not when I need to use the bathroom they were all full.

Sweet spot! Live music, good beer from the backyard food truck. Felt like a proper European backpackers hostel.

Great hostel! Met so many amazing and likeminded people there, great for solo travelers. Rooms are small, but you'll hardly be in there. Lots of cozy spots to hang out. Nice outdoor area and bathhouse as well. Cheers, thanks for everything guys!

    Very Good

Old brewery that no longer has any of that atmosphere except beer sold on site and most beds are bunks - very close together with little room for equipment hence low rating on value and facility. Everywhere there was water there was mold, especially bathrooms Bring ear plugs as the traffic noise on Highway 97 and trains passing by are prevalent. Kitchen well stocked, good breakfast. linens, washing facilities. Some local characters that hang out are sketchy Staff very friendly, helpful.

I stayed here for one night, it had a really great atmosphere but honestly was VERY basic. The workers were nice but they were very cliquey and always hanging out in the common area, I felt unwelcome hanging out there because of it. The bathrooms in the additional building are nice, free breakfast was good. NO room in the bedroom for anything, bunk beds were very creaky/wobbly, sheets were dirty. I woke myself and my roommates up every time I moved. WAY too much $ for what you get.

    1) There are not enough bathrooms for the number of guests. There was almost always a line for the bathroom 2) It was loud at all hours of the night, despite 'quiet hours' supposedly starting at 11pm 3) There were constantly people everywhere who were not guests of the hostel. This feels unsafe and awkward, and puts further strain on the limited facilities (e.g. bathrooms and kitchen) 4) Staff was rude and unfriendly towards everyone except their friends, who seemed to always be hanging around
