Bus Hostel was very close to downtown. It was very clean and those that worked there were friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here. It was also nice that some of our excursions left here!

Great, cheap stay for the week. Liked the kitchen and nice showers with hot water. Someone grabbed my towel, but the staff was helpful in trying to find it. Great pick up location for day tours.

This hostel is really nice. It is cheap but great quality none the less. They have a rather large kitchen (but it is for the entire Hostel) so often times you will have to wait for a little bit to have a turn using the oven. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers. They have a nice lobby where you can hangout and chat or grab some snacks. A lot of the tour companies actually have pickup locations at this hostel which makes it even more convenient to be staying at and booking tours from.

We had our stopped in after going to blue lagoon they let us check in a little early. We were able to shower and change, then walk down to the city center and walk around. We also walked to the observation deck near by.

Really nice hostel with a nice atmosphere. Kitchen was handy to keep the cost down and make your own breakfast but there was a buffet breakfast available if you wanted that instead. Location wise it's not that close to the centre however close to the BSI bus terminal for loads of tours. Stayed in the four bed work with a friend, lovely work but lucky that we were the only two on there as otherwise it would have been pretty cramped. Overall enjoyed my stay and would recommend!

    Very Good

Great location for trips, however much further than expected from city centre! Staff were friendly + helpful. Bathrooms were spacious + clean but 6 showers on a floor with at least 10 dorms was a struggle, especially when one didn’t have a door + another no locks! All shower heads but one were broken/unattached from the pole so you had to shower holding it up! Small kitchen but lots of appliances + cleaned often. Calm, quiet atmosphere, good for groups but wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers.

    Very Good

I was upgraded from a 10 bed dorm to a 4 bed. However a few things were a bit annoying, there were 6 bathrooms - 1 had no door at all, one had no lock, and 2 had no clip for the showerhead. But everything was clean and the lockers provide a lot of space. The kitchen was simply too small for the amount of people using it. You think they may anticipate that a lot of people would want to cook considering Iceland prices but no. Staff were friendly, good location for takingReykjavik Sightseeing tours
