This is probably my favourite hostel. I love the location overlooking the ocean. The rustic accommodation was beautiful and provided everything thing we needed. The staff were very welcoming, wish we could’ve stayed longer.

This place is ten shades of paradise- the sunrise, sunset, all day view, chilled out vibes, great food to buy from Faye. Perfectly located to chill out, watch whales, visit an amazing quiet beach with huge Pacific waves, private access to a popular swimming beach. Yes there is sand and ants around- find a cliff edge hostel that doesn't!! If we could stay forever, we would!

Our room was really beautiful overlooking the ocean, which was amazing, although the hostel doesn't have a communal kitchen which is a huge downside. They have a cafe that is really overpriced and the food in town is also really expensive. A lot of new-agey stuff and not much else.

Super beautiful lookout onto Mazunte's coast. The facilities though looked a bit rusty and in need of some remodeling. As others have mentioned, it's a quite a hike up to the location and you'll want to arrive during the day so you're not trekking up at night without any lights. A little more TLC and this place could be off the charts amazing! Staff was a bit disorganized, there was no one there when we arrived and we had to go hunting for someone to check us in.

Maybe the staff was stressed about something the were not welcome, during check in didn't explain anything. Was hard to get a smile out of the reception girl. It is a nice place and the bed and rooms were fine. I missed a some love

They were very confused about my booking and turns out they were confused coz there were two Catherine’s staying :/ the view was amazing but tbh I didn’t rate the place. Check out was 11 and I was woken up at 9.30 to tell me to check out then they were ripping the sheets off the bed while I was still sat on it at 10.30.

It was a strange place... we didn't meet the owners when we arrived but when we came back later in the day they seemed to be drunk and very rude...there is no communal kitchen. Not worth the hike up the hill to be honest.
