Stayed for one night and we loved it! Nice staff with a good atmosphere. The washing machine wasn’t great but we weren’t too fussed 😀

It was too lowd and crowdy for me, music most of the time, people getting drunk every night. Wasn't that bad but just didn't like the atmosphere, so I moved to a campsite. The people are friendly, there's a poole and hammock, it's good location. When I came in and booked, they didn't explain a lot to me, about the fact that I need to ask for a pot, plates and cutlery, what time the kitchen is closed for cleaning... ect. Just gave me the key, helped me with the stuff which was nice.

Pros- Great atmosphere, clean pool, nice staff, airconned room was a great escape from the heat, clean facilities Cons- The only hostel I've ever been to that you have to make your own beds up, barely any working powerpoints, WIFI doesn't work as too many people logged in constantly, wasn't any cold water in the taps for a shower

Nice and close to Divers bar and cable beach. Big fridges which is good. Lots of tours on offer. For over $30 a night you still have to put on your own bedding / pay $10 deposits for even using a pot or knife and fork which I thought was a bit strange never seen that before. Beds were pretty old too and dipped. Other than that the hamocs to lay on were awesome, a pool was cool and overall a nice stay.

Nice place, but one unfriendly staff made my feel uncomfortable. A pity. One of my t-shirt disappeared from the clothesline and because it was a gift from my brother and a joke about my hometown, I was sad about the idea of loosing it so stupidly. I asked the staff if someone brought it back after taking it by mistake (it was inside out so looked like a normal black t-shirt). She made fun of me and barely listened why I was attached to it, answering me there were heaps of black t-shirt.

Friendly staff and I Liked the common areas but the place was advertised to have air con but there was no aircon in the rooms (the 4 bed dorms Didn't have Anyway, not sure bout the rest) only place that had AC was reception, my room was smelly and dirty and overly hot. I ended up leaving a couple days early was just not a comfortable sleep at all, did offer a discount or refund at all.

Lovely hostel and good location although rooms and facilities were quite basic. Quite a few long termers though who made it a bit uncomfortable at times and felt like we couldn’t really relax. Blasting really loud music and one even going so far as to purposely soaking us by the pool even though we’d asked them not to as they had got us and all our belongings including our phones wet! Still great hostel for exploring Broome :)

Good location, 2 of the staff were nice but one was a bit rude. I image it’s good for longstayers but very cliquey so wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers . Dorms are ok but need to ask for extra blanket as it gets really cold at night and your only given a sheet initially. And only 2 plug sockets for 4 people. Showers are poor- clean but no pressure and only a couple of hangers- no shelf or anything in shower to put stuff

After four years of travelling and staying in hostels I've got a new 'worst hostel'. The hostel is nice and clean with a good lounge area. That's where the positives end. The staff in this hostel are the rudest and I have ever encountered (particulary the blonde woman) treating you like school children, not paying guests. The situation with staff is so infuriating that I checked out and moved to a nearby hostel. I cannot emphasise enough, how bad the staff are here. Avoid.
