Staff couldn’t have been friendlier, let me check in early and made me a smoothie and cake on arrival. The dorms were comfortable and quite spacious. Free breakfast included which was great. Highly recommend

When I first came to the Carrot on the Moon my digestible tract was in shambles. I was recovering from my worst bout of food poisoning yet so I was happy to be the only one to be checked into the six bed dorm at 11. Keep in mind this is also a bakery at that was actually the best part. Opal proceeded to basically nurse my sorry ass back to health with her delicious breakfast served always with one of her homebaked delights. If you're here try to try everything has it is all the best I have had.

I adored Carrot on the Moon, the girls that run it are very friendly and will gladly chat with you over a cup of coffee. The attached cafe has great espresso and some tasty treats. The free breakfast might not seem spectacular but compared to other hostels it’s pretty top notch, especially with freshly baked bread. The beds are pretty horrible I’m not gonna lie but the everything over shadows that and makes it 100% worth it. Not to mention it’s only 5 minutes from the main hub.

Carrot on the Moon was very nice. We had a good check-in even though we arrived a bit late. We stayed in a double room and even though the room was simple, it had everything you need. The only downside was that the walls are incredibly thin, so you could almost hear the neighbours speak word for word. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies working there (owners?) we're very friendly. I would highly recommend.

    Very Good

The staff were so nice, really friendly and kind and provided a great breakfast. Only negative was the rooms. The cheap price definitely reflects the quality of the rooms. They are boiling hot with only 2 fans, one on the floor and one on the ceiling, it didn’t reach us at all on the top bunk and I hardly got any sleep due to the uncomfy beds and the heat. The bathroom is also not ideal. The location is not too bad. Staff lovely just a shame about the rooms.

A lovely hostel! If you love food stay here! The included breakfast was delicious each morning we stayed! Location is also great especially if you’re not too sure about renting a scooter, as it’s just off walking street. When we stayed there was only us in the dorm so it wasn’t the best hostel to meet people but I suppose that would just depend on when you were there. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here.

Matressmon the floor. Basic room and bathroom. Just furniture had been out in it didn’t feel homely or even like a room. Good location near to main strip if that’s what you like. We didn’t. The kitchen was a horrible mess weeks of washing up left on the side and cats everywhere. Food left out which I assume was served to us for breakfast. Great. Breakfast had potential, egg mayo on toast but the hygiene put me right off

The staff was really nice despite a strong language barrier and breakfast was amazingly good and included which was nice. With that said the beds are very lumpy and stiff, the bathroom was fairly dirty for most of my stay and was only cleaned once in 4 days, and there are not enough fans to cool the all the beds so if the hostle has more than 2 people its pretty uncomfortably hot. I got the feeling this place is nicer when the owner is not out of town as they were when I was here.
