    Superb

This hostel was actually more like a hotel. The beds were big and SO confortable. The staff was extremely helpful, even printing out our machu picchu tickets for us! While some reviews say the location is up a hill, literally everything in this town is so don't let it deter you. Plus it's only 5 blocks from the bus station in the morning! Breakfast is a little aboce standard - for us it was breads, butter, jam, cereals, yogurt, cheese, avocado, ham, papaya, and bananas at 430 am! Wifi OK

Super helpful staff - made sure we knew the drill for visiting Machu Picchu and recommended a great restaurant for us. Free baggage storage and free breakfast made it so easy. No frills rooms, and would stay here again.

    Fabulous

First off, the room itself was outstanding - they upgraded me to a private room with my own bathroom, which was easily the best I've had in South America. The staff was also super helpful and friendly, not only printing my passes for free, he also noticed a mistake in my booking and helped fix it, saving me a major headache. Only downsides are that it was very hard to find, with no real signage, and the wifi wasn't working when I was there.

    Fabulous

Not an actual hostel so don't expect chatty vibes. They upsold me from a share room to a private room with a bathroom, which I took cause it was a great deal! But small hairs on the toilet and small pieces of broken glass in the room made me think the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned. That said, staff was very nice and they know the deal with Machu Picchu so they have a super early free breakfast and luggage storage. Door actually had a lock, no lockers.

Decent place to spend one night when going up to Machu Picchu the next morning. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding either. Receptionist helpful with info regarding Machu Picchu and a basic breakfast is served from 4.30 am. They also offer luggage storage. Sounds from the hallway outside carry through walls.

Centrally located, right on the street with all the restaurants. Good breakfast options starting from 4.30am so great for an early start when heading to Machu Picchu. The room was clean and had everything you needed for a 1 night stop in town.

Room ok. Bed ok. Shower ok. The owner also gave us nice tips regarding Machu Picchu. However, DO NOT EAT LUNCH OR DINNER AT THE RESTAURANT. We had the worst experience there. First we waited our food for over an hour (anywhere else takes like 5 mins). Then we didn't get the other dessert. When we were about to pay they suddenly started making up costs of a pineapple juice we drank (everywhere else included in set menu) which was like 15 soles. No excuses or apologies. Also, got foodpoisoning.

No hot water. Toilets didn’t flush. Front desk gave me misinformation about my Machu Picchu trip. Very loud inside of the hostel, downstairs. DO NOT STAY HERE! Not worth a penny.
