This is my second time staying here. It's great. The staff is wonderful & friendly. The included breakfast is one of the best that I've had. Location is perfect, easy to walk to everywhere in Miraflores. It's a pretty relaxed and relatively quiet place to stay. I look forward to my next stay. Thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Hualpa! I was there 2 nights, the first one was not schedule but they could still find me a bed available. Wifi works very well and the staff is great. The bathrooms/toilets and sometimes rooms could be cleaned up a little more often.

    Fabulous

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location while isn't at the heart of Miraflores, it's a very close walk to El parque Kennedy, where all the majority of the restaurants and bars start. Having cleaner facilities would have made my rating go up more. They have a kitchen with a fridge and microwave, some pots and pans and dishes, but it really could've used some cleaning while we were there.

The worst hostel I ever been to. Very dirty. The bathroom and shower was disgusting. I only used it once to pee and there was no toilet paper in either of the paper rollers. Both was empty. The room was very hot and humid because the window was open. Very unbearable. I should have slept at the airport. The staff was nice and check in was easy. The place was a little challenging to find. But still good. They provide breakfast in the morning as well. I didn't eat so I can't comment on this.

    Good

I would not stay here again and here's why: one of the bathrooms was out of toilet paper for a day because staff didn't know where the key to get it was, I was overcharged but I was in a hurry to leave so I just paid it, a bag that I had in my suitcase was taken out and used as the trash bag in the room (not kidding), one of the staff members was not at all helpful and it seemed like she didn't care, and it wasn't a social hostel at all. Don't stay here unless none of these things bother you.

The hostel did the job for a couple of days but would not have wanted to stay any longer. They don't have locks on the doors or lockers in the rooms which meant we carried round more than usual when we went out. They didn't offer a laundry service and weren't very helpful when asking for directions to a laundrette. It is advertised as in the centre of Miraflores, but they had no information of what to do in the area.

Not social at all. No lockers to secure your stuff, when I asked for a locker, the woman working asked me for my valuables to hold for me. What the f@ck!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! We reserved a private room, and they put us in an improvised room like a storage closet. Way too small to fit two people...could basically touch the wall on each side. Very claustrophobic and the window to the hall had white copy paper taped over it as the curtain, doing nothing to block out the light and keeping us awake. Very unfriendly and after much arguing they gave us a tiny discount and had us move our stuff out in the morning and be without a room until afternoon.

The room that I rented was extremely small, had threadbare linen, had a window that opened to a hallway where they kept the trash. The shade didn't work. The common area was dirty, the cloth couch looked like it had not been cleaned in ages! I left my belongings there and found another hotel. The clerk was on the phone as I was leaving, I told her that the place was not fit for a dog and will stop payment for the room.
