Not far from buses, town or train station. It was a little hard to find at first though. Felt safe and was clean.

Didn't spend much time here, but it was right close to everything. A little confusing to find because I didnt know how to get onto the other side of the train tracks but. Also very nice that they provide early morning breakfast bags for hikers that are going up to machu picchu. The staff were very helpful in giving information about buses and such.

You don't get a key for the room, so that door is always unlocked and anyone can get in. You do get a locker within the room that you can put your valuables in, but anything you leave on your bed is up for grabs. Location is great for visiting Machu Picchu. It's within easy walking distance of the trailhead. You get what you pay for. Breakfast is typical simple Peruvian, mostly bread with coffee and juice. Staff is friendly. As long as you are okay with not having personal space, it's just fine.

The bathrooms were so dirty and there was no toilet paper for more than 24 hours. For the first time in my life I had to ask for toilet paper. Unprofessional behavior from receptionist! No lockers, no control who enters the building However, great location, quality beds. Helpful kitchen service

Pretty average. Bathrooms everyday and fresh bed sheets for new people but the whole hostel felt pretty dirty. Could only lock the bedroom from the inside, no key to lock when leaving, there were big lockers for your bags in your room. Breakfast was literally a bread roll. WiFi was pretty pants. The hostel is located right on the train tracks which shakes the whole building every 20 minutes. There’s also a gushing river on the other side of the hostel which is nice but so loud. Hot water though.

The room was quite dirty - there was garbage throughout the room that was never removed from previous guests and we got bit by bugs overnight. The room was damp and smelled of mildew. There are large moths flying throughout the hostel, spiders in the bedrooms, and a bad mosquito/sand fly problem. It felt more like camping than staying in a hostel. Would definitely not stay there again.

Nothing was as it was listed/stated in the posting.Booked 8 bed they wanted to put us in a cramped 4 bed. Had to argue to get what we booked. Shower faucet did not work in room. NO HOT WATER in other showers. Dirty. Bad beds & pillows. No tp for over 48 hrs. Paid 15/s for lunch to go, was JUST meat on bun not cheese or sauce. No security. Train so loud is shakes the beds. Check out not 9:00 it’s 4-7. No address listed. Staff rude & not helpful. Wish I had more room to list more bad things.
