Overall a great hostel. Really loved the staff, the bunk beds, and the cleanliness. It is also close to many of the main sites and is near the Zócalo metro station. The bedrooms are a nice temperature at night, but only if you leave the window open, meaning that mosquitos and noise from the street and rooftop bar will disturb your sleep. This problem would be greatly improved by air conditioning.

Loved it overall. I'd add shower room exhaust fans to exhaust the humidity, top bunk air fans to cool things down a bit, and mix up the breakfast offerings for fun but overall it's a great hostel and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great hostel. I went with my mom (47). Though it’s a younger vibe, she enjoyed it too. Only downside was the female dorms were hot as there were no fans or ac. Just open balcony doors, which just flitered in the loud music (that went until 3 AM) and the street noises (cars and street cleaners at 3:45) The place was amazing but i barely slept our 4 nights there. If you want to party. This is a great spot.

A great place! Lots of privacy and security. Big lockers for bags. Excellent wifi. Fun events on the rooftop. Kind staff. Mattresses are hard. No AC (which I don't mind), but it meant mosquitos were an issue. A shelf in the shower would be nice (versus your things on the floor). Walking tour was fine, but incredibly slow paced (I left after 3.5 hours). Skip the Teohuacitan tour and take the local bus. You get more info from the posted info boards than from the guide. Overall, really fantastic!

It was my first time in Mexico and as a solo traveler so it was nice to stay at a secure and comfortable hostel for the first couple of nights. The only downside I felt was the atmosphere. As a solo traveler I wanted to interact more and it was quite difficult here. I recommend the free walking tour they do as that's where I met people and the tour itself was great, especially our guide! Nice place to settle and chill if that's what you're looking for :)

Fantastic hostel with locker and extra storage box in the actual bunks. Amazing rooftop too! Zocalo was not my thing, extremely busy on weekends and not a lot of restaurants around. Overall great hostel but not the best location

Good central location and lively bar, but the rooms were boiling so opening the window meant we were bitten to death. No lock in the shower and toilet room, despite being a shared room. Music playing really loud all night until about 3. Fine for one night, but one of the beds were also heavily exposed compared to the others which wouldn’t have been good for my bed as a solo female traveller. No real breakfast either.

Don't stay here in warm months. This place is a heat and mosquito trap, and I got no sleep. Mosquitos will buzz around your face and ears all night. There is no air conditioner and no fan. They give you a thick comforter and no sheet. Everyone complained about it. I'm depressed about not being able to enjoy my time in Mexico City after being awake all night in this hostel. One woman who had been there before and said each room in the hostel is different - so I guess it's up to chance.
