I really liked the place. It is a very good place to stay. You can go there with closed eyes. Plus, Nati and Juan ( staff ) are really nice!

We had a fantastic stay in at Casa del Pueblo in Esquel! The staff were incredible friendly and generous with their time (helping us with Spanish), and it was a really nice place to come back to and chill out after our adventures in the sourrounding hills.

We loved our stay, we arrived late at night and the staff were still super helpful and welcoming, felt like friends right away! The location is great - right in the centre. Good kitchen. My friend had a person snoring in her room and they helped her change room in the middle of the night which was very kind! Good laundry service ! ;) thank you!

    Fabulous

    12 Mar 2018
A pretty great hostel with easy access to the town and about 25 minutes to bus terminal. During my stay the hostel staff made a bunch of fresh pizzas and sold portions for $40 each which I thought was a nice touch. Staff was so helpful all the time. The only problem seemed to be some drainage issue in the showers , toilets and sinks which got worse during my stay and it was a bit unpleasant to be standing in someone else’s dirty water while taking a shower. Hopefully only a temporary problem.

    Fabulous

Stayed in a private double + an en suite bathroom with a powerful hot shower which was welcome! Nice breakfast and good kitchen. It was a comfortable bed but we didn’t get any sleep as the branches of a tree outside was being blown against the tin roof and when we mentioned it while checking out we were told it’s worse when it gets more windy!

When I arrived none of the staff spoke English which made communicating difficult. However, they were really friendly and their enthusiasm broke through the language barrier

    Very Good

    19 Feb 2017
The location and assistance by the staff is very good however the facilities are run down and need to be renewed. The bedroom in particular is tired and not appealing. The bed was lumpy, the bathroom leaked and the furniture worn out and ready for the firewood. The other reviews online are quite positive, maybe the pictures are older from a happier time.

Weird vibes from the staff and other guests. Ok for a one night stopover but wouldn't want to go back.
