This was definitely a highlight of my trip to Colombia. Me and my mate booked in and from the moment we arrived were greeted with a warm welcome by the staff. Wherever you choose to go in this hostel the view was outstanding. We booked the horse riding and waterfall trek which were great. The food was tasty with everyone eating together. Incredibly social hostel with fun drinks over a fire. The lack it wifi is a good thing, gets everyone out their bubble and chatting. Excellent staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Viajes, it is so beautiful and peaceful and a great place to relax for a few days. The activities they offer were great especially the waterfall trek and coffee tour. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. Also there is definitely not a spider epidemic there either, I saw 1 my whole stay and you are in the jungle so you need to expect insects. Would definitely recommend this place!

A perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature surroundings while in Minca! It is quite a trip with the moto taxi uphill but it pays off! Very beautiful location, well maintained, comfortable beds, hot water, delicious foods and nice personnel! Luxurious hostel but have to say that the prices are decent, they don’t rip you off! The only small downside is that they don’t have wifi, but maybe that’s better:)

Pros: -amazing food, they have a chef who cooks delicious group meals. Well priced considering the quality of the food and location of the hostel -great social spaces for chilling and having drinks -plenty of hot water in showers, some of which have an amazing view down the valley -comfortable single beds with mosquito nets -access to computer (and internet), if needed -filtered water tap is free, so easy to refill bottles Hard to think of any cons for this place

Amazing - but do not stay if you have arachnophobia ! Incredible location, food, staff and drinks. Lianne in particular made us feel very welcome. However, unfortunately, there are an unusual number of brown house spiders at this hostel. I’ve been I Colombia a month and have not yet experienced this number of them. I’m not sure if it’s the time of year (August) but it made my stay incredibly traumatic. I would 100% recommend this hostel unless (like me!) you have a phobia of spiders.

My only complaint is that I did not know when I booked it that there would be no internet. They do have a computer but it's slow, hard to log-in with double authentication that requires a phone connection, and shuts off when power is lost (was just a tiny thunderstorm). There ended up being an emergency at home that took far too long for me to find out about. I had wished I'd gotten more data. Other than that, this place was amazing. Great views, fun staff, good beer. Would 100% go back.

Superb place for a few days relaxation. Really peaceful, excellent healthy food, nice bar, great yoga. My only negative is the lack of a laundry facility. Having just finished a v rainy Ciudad Perdida trek, I really really needed to wash some clothes, rather than have them still festering in my bag three days later!
