I had a great time at Chabot hostel. The location was fantastic, they do great food at fantastic prices and it was a very relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly and willing to help with any questions!

Decent hostel albeit slightly more expensive for salta. Oh and the dorm bunk beds are muy alto and without sides! Not the safest when coming home after a night on the town. Nice otherwise.

Staff really helpful (especially Mateo in the kitchen!) and a good location. The hostel is still new though and a bit of a work in progress so there was work going on when I stayed but overall a good experience.

directions to the hostel are a riddle or have been written by one of the three blind mice. Rooms are huge However if you're top bunk you're at risk of being attacked by one of the hostels giant bats flapping around the room at 3am. You're probably thinking I'll go bottom bunk. But beware the local cat that has no issue in climbing in bed and dry humping you. He is distracted by duvets however so chuck him that and he will hump and you can sleep in peace breakfast isn't worth a mention. hostel ok

    Very Good

The staff were nice but did were sort of confused and more interested in being social with the rest of the staff, not very clean - underwear in one of the beds from a earlier visitor. However, the location was nice and the outdoor facilities as well

Stayed in Private Double w Ensuite. Good size room with ceiling fan. Very comfy bed and semi private outdoor area. Towels & Soap provided. No kitchen, or even fridge to keep fruit (beer), also only tap available is in the bathroom. Breakfast was bad, dry bread with tomato jam, coffee & tea. Good location. Staff were okay however on our final morning in the hostel no staff were around and there was no breakfast, also no security as anyone can walk into the hostel. No explanation or warning given.

Cold showers, no toilet seat in the men's toilet, rarely any toilet paper. Staff seemed annoyed by questions and couldn't tell us simple things like where to do laundry or rent a car. At least the rooms were quite comfy. The location was close to some bars but a fair walk to the good street food and markets.

Although the location is not that bad, my stay at this hostel was the worst so far in South America. The staff was unfriendly, only one person spoke English, and at night they would sit in the patio in frond of the rooms until 2-3 in the morning and talk/drink/speak very loud. Every night I had to ask them at least twice to be quiet. A general bad atmosphere, not good facilities and night water cuts. Very loud music also during the day. Wouldn’t recommend it. Wouldn’t stay again.

Dirty, terrible customer service, I pretended I didn't know Spanish and heard staff mocking me and insulting me in Spanish, rooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months, I would never return
