    Superb

I was visiting the west end (Hunterian Gallery and Museum and the Charles Rennie Mackintosh house). So this location was perfect. I could walk to everything. The facility was quiet, very clean, well-run. The shared facilities were clean and well-maintained. The tap in my in-room sink was loose at the base but this did not effect its function. I would stay there again. Note to myself: pack a facecloth and always book on line for the best deal.

    Fabulous

We had a twin room with shared bathroom. It had a TV, sink, table, a chair which was wobbly so we couldn't use it, plus coffee making facilities and a closet. Breakfast consisted of coffee from a machine, toast, yogurt, English breakfast cooked to order (which was very nice), everything you need to start your day. They didn't clean the room every day, but asked if we needed cleaning or anything in the room. A no frills, but ok value for money place to stay. 15 mins from Buchanan Street.

    Very Good

This is a BnB. it’s fine but if you’re looking for a hostel with hostel facilities and social atmosphere you won’t find them here. The rooms are tiny and the walls are paper thin but the beds are very comfortable and rooms are cleaned daily. The Included cooked hot breakfast was a nice touch as well! Can’t really complain but it was nothing special

Nice to have a private room but not worth the money. Better value at a standard hostel.

Rather sweet house and lovely staff. The breakfast was great as well as the location. However, my room did smell faintly and I was a bit bothered that the bins for tissues in the bathrooms were too small. I also didnt feel completely comfortable when I realised that the staff enters your room while you're away and makes your bed.

Bed sheets stained badly, shower enclosure dirty with black mould, in fact turned the lights off and shut the curtains so I would not have to look around me. Very noisy after 11pm. This should be rated as a hostel and not a guest house.

It's ok if you don't like touching things, or taking off your clothes. Gross dirt in the corners, hairs in the shower. The toilet leaned over alarmingly when i sat on it. In need of renovation.....cheap furniture which doesn't wear well. Not sure the sheets were clean. Couldn't chance breakfast after a night sleeping in my clothes. Thin walls....everything squeaks.Fed up of hearing "you get what you pay for" the room was not worth the money. Even if basic, a B&B should be clean!

Dissapointed with the Charing Cross guest house, on arriving they could not find our booking details then when they did had not the twin room available for myself and my friend was put into a poky double bedroom with a bathroom that could only fit one at a push. Then to top it all off was asked for full payment which I had already paid for through Hostelworld, Since coming home have sent proof of payments with bank and receipt to Hostelworld but surprise surprise still waiting for my refund.
