This was a fun and lively place. It is nice and open with lots of rooms for all types of travelers. A fun and active atmosphere without shafting safety.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was pretty chill including the other guests so you could talk, play games, or just hangout. There is a full kitchen so you can bring in and cook your own food which is really nice. The hostel is pretty clean. Sometimes the tables were dirty or had dirty dishes, but that's the other guests not The hostel. The location is about a 40 minutes walk from the center. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

I really enjoyed this hostel. The set up of the rooms gives some privacy, the lockers are a good size, and it was well organized with the key cards. The WiFi was good, plenty of plugs to charge in and it’s right near a tram station so it was easy to get anywhere. Great value for the money.

The showers on the fourth floor are genius. Somethings seems really new which was nice. Rooms were pleasantly quiet given they are right off the common rooms that are loud. Mitch was good and good breakfast! Staff were helpful. DO NOT USE THE DRYER. our laundry (about 10 articles of clothing) took 3+ hours to dry.

I enjoyed staying for a very low price and getting questions answered about traveling around and directions etc. I would definitely come again! I look forward to going back! The only issue I had was no bathroom facilities in the shared bedroom.

    Very Good

Stayed for four nights and the first time we’ve been in such a huge dorm, however we had surprisingly much privacy! Breakfast is okay, location good if you get a day ticket for the tram. Although it is one of the cheapest hostels in Helsinki it’s still quite expensive for what you get, but you should know this is common in any Scandinavian country.

Contrary to the name, it's not that cheap and it's hard to get sleep. DO NOT stay here on a weekend. As a solo traveler I found this place noisy and unwelcoming. Quiet hours were not adhered to. Paper thin walls. I was the only person in my room who stayed more than a night, and people would often move in late at night and wake me. Cleaning staff came in loudly one morning to change bedspreads before 9am (check out is at 11). Security is pretty good. Breakfast is lacking. 20 mins from downtown.

I did not enjoy my stay at Cheapsleep. Nor was it cheep neither did I get much sleep because of rude people in my room. I was staying in a 4 bed dorm where my bad was directly in front of the door, whcih means when someone openend the door there was always shining light on me and noise was easily reaching me. I also had the impression that a lot of poeple, especially men where living there on a regular basis, which created a not very nice atmosphere. And at least the breakfast was terrible:
