While the hostel is very far from the centre, it is easily accessible by tram or bus. The hostel is lively and the staff are very helpful.

It‘s a cheap place to stay in expensive Helsinki! There’s a bus in front of the hostel that takes you to the city center. Be aware that you need to buy a bus ticket before you go to the bus station - tickets are not sold on the bus. Bathrooms are okay, but could br cleaner. The windows in the dorm rooms are too small for good ventilation. However, it‘s definitely worth the few bucks you‘re spending!

Solid hostel. Not much to complain about, but also not much to rave about. Modern style, and cheap for Helsinki. Also the shop next door was very helpful.

This place is exactly as its name suggests- a cheap place to sleep in a costly city. They make it up by putting 6 persons in a 19 sqm room, unbearable in the hot summer days. The toilets and showers are in front of the reception and one has to wait in a queue to get into one in the morning. I've seen the most boring game room here. Kitchen has all the appliances but only one for all people. At least, the staff are friendly and helpful.

This place is ok for a cheapish option but it’s not one of those cheap hidden gems. The kitchen is really small for a hostel and the communal space not exactly very ‘communal’. It’s a long room of sofas and chairs. The staff were ok though not super helpful. They wouldn’t reveal the (inflated) price of a tram ticket that they sell at reception until I saw it on a poster (4£ not 2.8£) and asked directly if that was the price they were about to charge..weird. Super noisy at night with sirens etc.
