For a cheap bed in expensive Zurich, this place does the job! It’s decor is not very inspiring but it has everything you need. Wifi is decent throughout the hostel.

The build is very old and you have to keep in mind that to get to the bedrooms, you're supposed to climb a lot of stairs. So don't bring heavy luggage. Apart from that, the rooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable. The location is incredible - walking distance from all touristic spots in Zurich and also close to 2 tram stops. I'd definitely go back because of the location, but next time I'll only bring a light backpack.

Bare bones hostel in a fantastic location. Check in was a little bit of a hassle, because they only staffed the front desk for certain hours. You have to pay extra for bed sheets, but if you have a sleeping bag, you can use that. The price is more than most hospitals I have stayed at, but it is very cheap for Switzerland. WiFi was good, and there is a nice rooftop area. The main selling point is the location. It is right in the old town. I would definitely stay again.

Quaint hostel in old town Zurich. Very expensive but they were accommodating. Had to pay for sheets. If you’re traveling just two people try to stay in 105 it’s a kitchen with two bunks but for the same price as the big dorm rooms.

Zurich is an expensive city so heads up. It’s not a “get what you pay for” situation because I feel like I paid too much for what I got. The bathroom was small and there weren’t any outlets in the room. Other than that, it has a great location that is pretty central to everything and the staff was very friendly.

Not enough outlets, badly placed. Lots of stairs, very tight. Reception wasn't very helpful and closes for 3 hours in middle of day, very annoying. Anyone can get inside and to rooms, you need key to enter your room but no where else in building. After 10 pm you need key to enter, but during the day anyone can come inside. Kitchens not very clean or had a lot in them. Rooftop terrace isn't nice. Bathrooms alright, clean but showers aren't the best. Good location.

Great location. Unfortunately not the best place to meet other backpackers. My room was full of older working men. Lockers are a bit too small to fit a normal padlock, so make sure you have a small one
