    Very Good

Cheap place to stay that is worth the money. Small lockers that will not fit a large backback, but will fit a bunch of smaller items. The toilets were a bit smelly but nothing too bad. Bed linens are not included, but this is mentioned so just bring your own or rent.

    Very Good

i was disappointed in the smelly showers and the smelly trash bin in the kitchen. there was some disarming disgruntled hosteller that seemed irritated that i did not speak swedish. i chose the place because of the photo of a person at an array of desktop computers and claim of free internet access. that was no longer there and they need to update theiradvertised offered services. their renovations never did reinstall the desktop internet access computers. daytime tour hours wasted in library!

I have been coming here occasionally for 12 years.  Now it has new managers. The "kitchen" has no stove but has two microwaves.  The refrigerators are never cleaned out and are filthy. My room has a TV that doesn't work, and they won't fix it.  The room has three ceiling lights; two of them work.  The internet to the rooms is intermittent but is OK in the dining room. The shared bathroom has at least one toilet with a partially attached seat.  A shower head dangles and they won't fix it.

Price does not include bedding which is a mandatory add on, makes the price seem lower than it actually is. The hostel will also not allow you to use your own sleeping bag in place of their bedding.

Ultimately, what you're paying for is the location. At 150 meters from the Central Rail Station, the location you get for the price you pay is unbeatable. Beyond that, don't expect much. Our dorm was windowless, and had two small toilets and showers for 28 people. Lockers were provided, sheets costed extra. I slept fine, however my friend's mattress was basically a bowl. The location and the price is what sells it - however the amenities leave a lot to be desired.

The hostel was alright for one night stay, but I had difficulties in making myself understood with the staff in Swedish or English. I understood that I arrived rather early (around2pm) so that may have caused some confusion. The room was in the basement with no AC so the air got rather stuffy after a bit. I also had someone's stuff and old sheets on my bed and the stuff was next to the bed still after I left the following day. The best thing about the hostel was closeness to central station.

Overall a good experience. I would have liked it, if there were possebilities to lock my belongings without bringing my own lock. It was very concerning to leave my stuff in a big dormroom withou knowing all the other guests. The building and the rooms were far from pretty or cosy, but they were clean and enough to have a good nights sleep. Unfortunately the walls really are not thick so I was able hear every single sound my "neighbours" made.

If you are a single female traveller do not stay here. Has a homeless shelter vibe lol. No windows or ac. All you are paying for is location. I would advise against the 28 bed dorm. Wifi in my room (8 beds) not functional.

The place is not nice. You feel this place hasn’t been renovated for decades. The rooms are in a basement with no renewed air ( no windows no air conditioning.) the corridor floors are all crooked. The kitchen feel uneasy. As for the toilet they seem to fall apart. (Broken Light bulbs not changed. Sink only in the toilet cabin. ) This place needs a really big makeover with a designer to get a ambiance.
