A great place to stay, friendly and helpful owners who’ve a few interesting stories to tell! Nice atmosphere and easy to get chatting to other guests, great views from the window of the room and perfectly located. Best hostel breakfast I’ve had in Ireland! I will almost certainly be back one day!

Enjoyed the wonderful staff at the hostel he was very helpful and kind and could enjoy a good laugh, he was also very helpful on helping us plan our touring. Had a little more to offer for breakfast than some other hostels we stayed at on our trip around Ireland. Had a private room and it was a decent size and the showers were nice and hot which is hit and miss at hostels in Ireland. Beds were not the comfiest. Found myself quite sore in the morning after I woke up. Very thin mattresses.

I loved this hostel — it was clean and the rooms had a lock/with a door that closed/locked automatically. And my dorm room was very spacious with big windows. My only minor complaints are that (1) showers/bathrooms are really small (which may be a problem if the hostel is busy); (2) there are no lockers for your bags in the dorm; and (3) even though many beds in my room were available, I was not allowed to check-in until the official check-in time — I don’t know why.

The staff wasn't kind enough in my opinion, but the location, cleanliness and toilets and showers are covering it up. One of the best hostel-breakfasts I had in Ireland!

I arrived at 3 o'clock in the day after cycling for 7 hours to get there, I was clearly tired and had a lot of gear to carry with me. When I walked into reception the man behind was the desk was extremely rude and unwelcoming. He simply said "4 o o'clock check in" without looking at me and waited for me to walk out. When I eventually checked in an hour later, he was still very unwelcoming. I would not go back to this hostel for this reason. A shame there is only one hostel in the town.
