This was my second stay at Clink78 and compared to the other hostels in London, I love this one SO Much more. The atmosphere is 10x more fun. The privacy walls are fantastic and the Sandemans walking tours are AWESOME. Only con is that it’s a little far.

People aren’t kidding when they talk about the water pressure being too high in the showers! With the exception of that quite painful experience, the facilities were very good, although the toilets in the ‘birds nest’ section could have been cleaner. The female dorm felt spacious when you weren’t in the bed, and as long as you didn’t mind the pod-styles stacking of the bunks it was quite a good setup. Wouldn’t really describe it as a place to meet solo travelers, but overall, pretty good!

Only thing i d point out is, that i felt pretty cramped in my 8 pers room. Every square meter is seized and used for the beds. Sometimes very awkward to sort your bag. Especially at rush hours. The bunks are good. U have a nice and neat electronic socket shelf (usb...etc). But i wish inside the bunks, there were more shelfs to put something on. Long story short apart from the said negative issues it s a nice and clean and communicative hostel. If ur lookin for more comfort, better to look else

The hostel is in a pretty good location, close to King's cross tube, which you can take to go anywhere. Staff is friendly, but the hostel is a bit dirty. I Definitely recommend earplugs and a sleeping mask if you are in a room with multiple people. Hostel price is fair for what you receive. Has a bar downstairs but never went. Also has a kitchen which is nice. Lockers in the room are decently sized, but not large. My bag barely fit into it. Overall, I would stay again.

Bathrooms could use a little bit more cleaning. Staff could be nicer, they were more worried in you not using the facilities you didn’t pay for (like breakfast) rather than checking if you were having stood stay. Near King’s cross and some other bus stops, which is super convenient. All in all it was ok
