There was a hell of a lot of mould in one of the bathrooms; the shower curtain was completely covered. Staff were nice

A typical backpackers hostel with a mildly eclectic character. Friendly staff, easy check in and check out (even with support early check out at 5am). Basic accommodations but clean and good bake for money! I'd stay here again ☺️

Hostel was in a very good location and very easy to get to. The staff was very friendly upon check-in and getting greeted by a dog is very nice. The facilities were ok just not the best. The only other downside is that the street can be noisy if you are trying to sleep

    Very Good

Good size kitchen and communal area. Tesco express up the road. Met some cool people here and a dog that loves a pat and ringing the bell. When I arrived the stairs were covered in dog hair but they cleaned them while I was there which was a delight!!! Bathrooms are well kept and staff are nice enough. Hostel is an enjoyable 20 min walk to and from central Glasgow. Bring cash and a lock if you want to use a locker. Would stay here again because the door art is cool

The wifi didn’t work up on the 2nd floor. The window in my room leaked water and had mould growing on it. So the floor was always wet. The bathroom had only one toilet seat that worked, the other was ripped off. Their card machine does not work so you can’t pay credit- so have cash.

This was by far the worst experience in a hostel. Saying the facilities were dirty is an understatement. The bed sheets stank, the pillow was literally brown and the duvet was stained. One of the walls in our bedroom had this massive hole as well. The toilets weren't any better: not only was there only a single toilet for the whole place, it was filthy and smelled of urine. We didn't get to see the kitchen, as we left the following morning, but it's certainly a place a would never recommend.

Mould in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Filthy stairs to both levels. Wifi didn’t work in the rooms. Water spilled out from shower by past users frequently into the common bathroom area. A long walk to most attractions.

The first impression we have is that we were entering a disturbing night club, then a member of the staff gave us the keys and the real nightmare begun; the more upstairs, the more humid carpet hedor we smelled. Our room had holes in the wall, our bed sheets had suspicious spots, the real colour of our pillows was brown and....all old fashioned with and horrible and semi-detached wall paper. It was all clear when we discovered the 'nest of the worms'; the bathroom; urine widespread mixed with a
