Great location, near to markets and shops and places to eat. We stayed for one night and the woman at the reception gave us a larger private room which had an en-suite and towels at no extra cost! Which was amazing after having just done the colca canyon hike. We were leaving early the next day and the woman asked when we were leaving made us breakfast at the time that suited us. Rated down on atmosphere as we didnt see anyone else but this didn’t matter at all for our short stay :)

Nice hostel near main plaza. Friendly staff (although they only spoke Spanish). Room was clean with ensure shower. Towels and maps given. Comfortable stay overall. More of a hotel rather than hostel where one could meet and hang out with lots of people.

A very basic place to sleep, but a solid choice. I booked a bed in a dorm, but I don't think they even have dorms available -- which is fine, since I got a private room with bathroom instead. There were plenty of blankets on the bed and the shower was hot. Breakfast is included and seems quite decent, but I left early so I didn't try it.

Nice hostel, it has most of what you need at a good price. However, they say there is hot water but i did not get it (it was the worst shower i've ever taken). Also there is no wifi; well ther is, but the speed is so slow that you cannot do anything.

Just to be clear, this is not a hostel but a cheap hotel. I had booked a 4 person dorm but actually it was a single room (same price though! :)). The hotel was nice enough and very cheap and a nice place to lay your head for a night before heading to colca canyon. They would benefit by adding some better directions to hostelworld because right now the only directions they have are how to get from arequipa to Chivay but it's kinda confusing once you're in town.

This place is rough. The atmosphere is absolutely non existent. The lock on my door didn't work properly and could be broken extremely easily. The sheets looked dirty. There was no common area. I wouldn't recommend this place. Just spend a bit more money and stay in a hotel. Trust me. Let me save you the inconvenience. The employees speak no english, which is also a bummer at a hostel where many foreigners come. In the end, I ended up just cutting my losses and leaving to stay elsewhere.

Not what we expected. We actually did not end up staying here overnight due to feeling unsafe. We felt this booking was VERY misrepresented. Location was off of a busy market with no visible security door. Room door did not seem to lock securely and there was a very loose window right next to the door that made it feel that someone could just reach in and open the door. There was hair on the pillowcases suggesting that sheets had not been changed. Also overpriced for area/quality
