The location was perfect, is a 10 min ish Walk to everything, however the cleanliness was so bad, every bathroom was dirty 24/7, in my floor only 1 of 3 bathrooms were working, the showers also dirty and one of them didn't have hot water, the room was so smelly. Alsooo, reception is not open 24/7.

The hostel is set up well for someone who is looking for a lively atmosphere near many of Copenhagen's main attractions. My main complaint is with the services. The toilets were often dirty and without toilet paper. The water never got hot in the showers or sinks, even after letting it run for a good 10 minutes.

/! Bed Bugs /! The hostel is nice and the rooms as well. I was there a week ago and I had no problem. However this time my bed was infested with bed bugs. I noticed around midnight, after one hour and a half spent in the bed. The reception was helpful, washed immediately my closed and change me to another room. In this other room there was another girl who lived exactly the same situation but in another floor. The hostel is nice but I do not advise you to stay there until they resolve it.

The bathrooms were super dirty, and the showers don't drain. The space you are put in will be very tight, but that compounded with their lack of quietness of AC made them really unbearable. If you're really looking to party, you'll enjoy, but if you have standards and want to sleep, I do not recommend.

Copenhagen Downtown Hostel says

I think what puts us ahead of the rest is that we're the real backpackers' in town, made by travellers for travellers. We want you to experience the real Denmark, its people, its humor and its personality. I believe that this place is the expression of a hostel how should be all around the world - full of magic, activities, livable common areas and crazy people that give this place an enjoyable and fun atmosphere.
The common area features a Scandinavian retro design with recycled wooden floors from old Copenhagen apartments used for the tables and benches, plus a lot of bright colors, wall maps, and other design features to make the area warm and welcoming.
There's lots to do in this area but I definitely recommend visitng Christiania - the Freetown - a unique place occupied/squatted in 1971 and now a community, where people live and chill out. Furthermore, the place has grown with bars, cafés, restaurants, concert places, art and has its own very peculiar atmosphere.
If noticed in advance, we can provide all kinds of food/drinks for special needs, such as gluten-free bread. Lactose free milk (soya drink) is always in stock. Jesper, Manager
