overall not a bad spot, mostly clean and good value, but the area is super dodgy (even if located within walking distance to beach). hostel-sponsored activities were poorly organized (or just didnt exist) but at least a decent social vibe in the bar; of 4 rentable in-house bikes, none (zero) were in a usable state; some kind of church service across the street on sundays started at 6am with loud shouting into microphone/speakers. pretty cool open air courtyard and friendly staff!

I enjoyed my stay there, but it is very noisy so I did not sleep well. It is an ideal location downtown. The staff is friendly and helpful with information

Great place if ur on a budget. It' close to the beaches., but not ideal if you're into sight seeing in the city. Only regret is taking the rooms next to the main road. Could not sleep much due to the noise.

It is reasonable and staff wee friendly, they help me to keep my bag in the storeroom cause I arrived early. And their wifi was reachable . I think to me the thing that I was struggling with is to wake up and walk for toilet and bathroom.

There was no water when we arrived in the afternoon. Got only sorted next day midday. Bedbugs in my bed. Kitchen smelly whole place rather dirty. Locals hang out at the place and crash there too. Area is unsafe and dirty. in the plusside it has a ok bar and common area.

The location of the hostel is sketchy. As I arrived Saturday evening at the hostel I was confronted by a homeless man that scared the mess out of me. So afraid I asked the Uber driver to accompany me inside the hostel. Once I checked in the receptionist informed me there’s no room key for the room I’m staying in. I thought how could management run a business and be so irresponsible with managing room keys. I was told that past guest never turned the keys in. Management 101: charge a Key fee!
