Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

25% charged 4 weeks prior to arrival and is non-refundable - the rest is due upon arrival. No shows liable to 100% of the balance outstanding.

The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Junior / Primary School If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."

All children must be accompanied by adults in the same rooms.

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Property Description

Situated in Downtown DC you can walk to many historical sites.
Check out on our website, or our Facebook page, and join us for our events, with free hook ups to various DC clubs, and tours.

Our hours are from 10am to 10pm. Check-ins outside of those hours are allowed with a 24 hour self-check-in option, but must be explicitly approved by a manager. Contact us with exact time of arrival. Please do this at least 24 hours ahead of time. Late check-ins are not guaranteed, until they are set-up ($10 late fee).

Parking is $15/per night is available on “first come, first served” basis.

Cancellation and Payment Policy -
24 hr. cancelation policy; we must receive your email 1 day before your arrival day, end of the business day- by 6 PM.
All cancellations MUST be emailed to us.
Reservations that have checked-in must notify us at least 3 days prior to departure time (once you have checked in). Any days within 3 days will be subjected to a 50% cancellation fee. Any cancellation of the day of Check-in will be charged the full night’s stay.
Please be courteous and inform us immediately of a cancellation or change in plans.
Group reservations policies vary and are will be listed in your group contact.

Upon arrival, full payment will be accepted in cash (US $) /traveler’s checks or major cards listed. We do not accept personal checks.
Group reservations (4 guests and more) will be charged 25% non-refundable deposit.

    Although I was upgraded to a really nice room, and was pushed to write a good review in return, by staff. I must say that I was freezing cold the whole night I was there as there was no working heating system in the room, and it was snowing outside . Had to sleep in my coat. I discovered this late at night when I got in the room and couldn’t t seek the staffs help at that time.

Things to Note

TAXES of 14.5% WILL BE ADDED UPON MAKING A RESERVATION

Our reception hours are from 10am to 10pm; check-in outside of these hours must be EXPLICITLY APPROVED by a manager. Please contact us at least 24 hours before your arrival time, there is a fee of $10 (per the whole reservation, irrelevant of people or nights). Your late check-in is not guaranteed until you have received and explicit confirmation from the management.

Taxes aren't included in the price; they'll be added upon check-in at a rate of 14.5%. We accept cash (USD), travellers' cheques and credit cards.
We have a three-day cancellation policy, once checked in. Cancellations received within 3 days of arrival will be subjected to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows and cancellations within 24 hours of check-in will be charged for a full night's stay.

All groups (4+) are charged 15% of the total amount, prior to arrival. Small group reservations (4 - 10) have the same 24 hour cancellation period, but the 15% deposit is non-refundable within 3 days. Medium size groups (10-20) have a minimum of 1 week cancellation notice for 15% deposit, and 2 weeks for reservation fees. Large groups (20+) are required to inform us 2 weeks prior for 15% deposit refund, and 4+ weeks for reservation fees in advance for any cancellations (depending on size). Group reservations are not considered valid, unless the deposit is charged with sufficient time, ahead of arrival.

Valid credit card and passport or photo ID required at check-in.

Smoking isn't allowed. Evidence of smoking in the room or common areas will result in an additional charge of $500 to cover the additional cleaning for smoking in the room and loss of revenue. Any kind of open flames, including lit cigarettes or burning candles, are not allowed.

We have a long-stay policy of a maximum of 7 days, unless the staff approve otherwise.
We do not allow DC residents, or those from the nearby MD or VA areas.

No pets, please.
