A peaceful location with great access to the city and great facilities. We stayed two nights in a twin private room with shared bathroom. Room good. Bathroom excellent. Breakfast exceptional. No cafe but excellent self catering facilities and also vending machines. Excellent laundry facilities. Very close to bus stop and easy 20min trip into centre going through many streets with supermarkets and places to eat. We bought 72hour city pass for buses out to hostel which is in zone 2. Lovely stay.

    Fabulous

I'd been in the city hostels for a bit and fancied this as a break from Saturday night in town. It's a really long haul to walk there from town but I did it and the lake that greeted me at sundown made it all worthwhile. This Danhostel is perfectly located for a lovely park and lake and has easy 24 hour access for smokers and insomniacs :P Plenty of machines to buy cheap drinks from but make sure to have plenty of coinage with you for that. Lovely TV lounge that has a hotel feel.

Really nice place, great staff, and some things to do in the hostel. Location is a little far from the city center but closer to bus stops. Finding the hostel on gps was rather challenging, but still had a great night in this hostel.

Really clean hostel, spacious dorms. Not too far from city (30min bus journey to Central Station). River and seating area right outside which was nice. Good value for money. Only thing was there wasn’t any shops or somewhere to grab some food nearby.

    Very Good

The first night I arrived I was unable to stay as I had driven from Herford Germany and missed the 6pm check in time. They only provide a 3 hour window to check in which is poor if you are a traveller like me. So had to stay somewhere else. However when I arrived the next day the staff were really friendly and helpful. They provide towels which is rare in hostels. And the bed was good.

This place is Dan hostel commune !! Male sure that you are fully aware that it isn’t the one in the center! I wasn’t aware of it when I booked it, I taught it was the one in the center. Otherwise I was only there for one night but the staff was really friendly and room very clean even though you don’t have anywhere to lock your back. If you are looking for a cheaper option in copenhague you can easily take the bus there and this place is good and have a lot of facilities if you need to cook.

Location was further from the center. A good 25 mins to see the main places would be a trek. The atmosphere was very dead for a hostel, no one to be seen, no hostel vibes. Definitely not good for meeting people as all would be staying in a hostel nearer to the city centre. Staff were good!

This is a great place to stay if you want a sleepy hostel away from the madness of the city. I was travelling with my roommate and didn't like the fact that dorms were separated by gender - usually hostels give you an option of co-ed. The common areas are nice, and there are grocery stores 10 mins away. The kitchen however is super disorganized, often a bit messy, and lacks some basic cookware/cutlery. Not the worst place to stay, but if I was travelling alone I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.

This hostel was far from the center, about 30 min by bus which was pretty expensive. The hostel felt more like a hotel, no vibe whatsoever, the rooms were full which was nice to meet people but there was no where to hang out in the hostel. As it wasn’t cheap I was disappointed. The good thing was that bed linens and towel was included in the price.
