Great place to stay. The host, Isi is such a welcoming and nice person - went out of his way to drive us into the town a couple times. Very helpful and showed us the best spots to go to. Awesome breakfast every morning too! Highly recommend :-D

Faith and her staff made me feel at home. Spent a week there and they were very helpful. I found my new go to place in Nuku'alofa.

We stayed here on our first night in Tonga. They had a pick up from the airport ready for us when we arrived, and gave us fresh coconuts to snack on in the evening! The breakfast was awesome and Faith even gave us a ride to town when she was heading that way the next morning. I felt like I was staying with family, great hospitality!

We stayed here on our first night in Tonga and again on our last. The staff were super friendly and helped us get set up with a temporary license, rental car, and SIM card right away. The location is a bit far from the city centre but they always offered to give us a lift into town when we didn’t have the car, and taking a taxi was only about 7 pa’anaga (3USD)! The included breakfast way exceeded our expectations, and the rooms were large and comfortable. Would happily stay here again.

Place was homey, clean and tidy, easy to find. Hostess Faith and her assistant Henry were amazing. Attentive and warm. Overall - Highly recommend this place. there are cheaper places and there are places closer to town, but I loved the atmosphere and the hospitality. After a month of backpacking the South Pacific, it was nice to be homey. I felt like I as visiting my mom. Faith had her daughters there and they were getting ready for school while she and Henry made us breakfast.. it was great : )

    Very Good

Because it was my first visit to Tonga I didn't realise how far out from town or a beach this lodge would be. That was the main disadvantage for me, because it was around a 40 minute walk to get into town, although it is in an excellent location for the medical intern students who come for placements at the hospital nearby. Having said that, the breakfasts were communal and enjoyable, the other guests were interesting to meet, the home had a peaceful family atmosphere, and was clean and tidy.

I expected more from Dayspring - you have to pay for things like using the kitchen and there is limited internet (same everywhere in Tonga) The location is poor, very far from the city centre, basically you would need some transport. The staff/owners were nice and friendly, but sometimes it felt a bit awkward - basically you are staying in someones house
