Dragon’s Den is so good! I love the atmosphere and the friendly staffs. Their hospitality is something not easy to find, and they speak perfect English. I also got many useful travel advices and bus information. The food is very delicious btw. I definitely recommend others to stay in Dragon’s den, especially you are traveling alone and want to find a place to make friends and chat!

This place is wonderful. It’s in a perfect location right in the middle of the rice terraces. The staff was great. Addison and Carla were very friendly and helpful! I highly recommend hiking up to the Golden Buddha viewpoint. It was one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever done.

Although it was a little difficult to find, it was totally worth it. Basic but comfortable with nice staff and decent food. I would stay here again, but please put a sign in the village so people know which steps to take! You definitely at least need to find it. Lots of great hiking in the area, I only stayed one night and could easily have stayed for two.

Lovely friendly staff and yummy food. Although slightly hard to get to, the views are absolutely fantastic. Rooms are very basic, with shared bathroom being a squat toilet. Not the cleanest, however the excellent staff and amazing views make up for it. Would definitely stay again

Great hostel in the Longji Rice Terraces. The staff were very friendly and helped with planning walking routes and onward transport. When I was there the hostel was quite quiet (5-10 people there), but was definitely one of the busiest hostels in the area - many nearby were empty - so definitely the place to go as a solo traveler. Dorms are fairly basic, but good value and as expected for a rural location. The food is very good.

    Very Good

This place is a trek to get to, which is just important to know from the get go, so maybe hard for families. I really enjoyed the volunteer staff, but found our room to be gross and the facilities to be limited. The electricity went out during one of the nights and it seems it is somewhat common. Our room had an adjoining bathroom, and smelled like it. It was also smelling of mold or something musty, which may be common of that area because it rains so much, but was unpleasant regardless.
