I have stayed in hostels all over the world and this is one of the best so far. The interior design of this hostel is beautiful. I got greeted by a lovely young man and treated with the nicest hospitality I have received in a long time. I was very impressed. I think the breakfast could be stepped up a tiny bit to reflect the price. The sitting room could do with a few blankets or cushions to give more of a homely feel too like the rest of the hostel. Great stay thank you! :)

A cozy and clean hostel with comfy beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located about 10 min walk away from the city centre, but no problem. Nice freey breakfast is a good addition. Highly recommended when you visit Derry, which is a lovely city.

No lockers or on site staff if you need them. We visited in February and essentially had the entire building to ourselves, which was awesome. Good living room and a great kitchen.

Kitchen needs more teaspoons and more knives! Doorbell needs fixing - I arrived at the appointed time but could not gain entry until one of the guests just happened to come out the door after i waited about ten minutes on the doorstep. Showers are great once I learned how to operate them BUT there needs to be a sign telling you to pull the cord to start the water as I have never encountered this arrangement before in any of my travels.

    Very Good

There wasnt any staff present unless you bumped into them while they cleaned (around 12h) or of you called the manager in. They were very friendly but other wise abscent. It felt like a small hotel. Sure there was a common room area and kitchen but you barely felt invited. It was mostly barren. It didn't feel like a hostel, but a hotel. A part from that, was very clean, lots of washrooms and WCs, it was just beside the downtown area without being in it so it wasnt noisy.
