Property Description

Dizzy Daisy Downtown was one of the first hostels opened in Krakow. In almost 15 years of our existence, we have provided thousands of people from all over the world a comfortable stay in our city, and hence the popularity and renowned name of Dizzy Daisy among tourists and backpackers. Come to us and you won't be able to keep away for a single night!

DDD is located on Pedzichow Street, only 10 minutes walking gets you to the main square. The same distance separates us from the main train&bus station. Dizzy Daisy is housed in a XIX c., two-story tenement building that has been completely renovated, and is modern and functional.

In Dizzy Daisy Downtown we offer: studios (twin room + triple room + bathroom), apartments and spacious multi-person dorm rooms with private lockers.

A cozy common room finds itself right behind the reception. Internet access (2 computers and wifi in the entire building) and tea&coffee is free of charge all day and all night!

Besides this, a washing machine and a dryer are at your disposal, which you can use at any time for the tiny price of 5 pln per load.

We offer free baggage storage, which resolves problems of early and late flight or train times.

The reception of the hotel is open 24 hours, and the people working there are eager to help. We will provide you with information on sight-seeing, tourist attractions, the best clubs and events. It is worth asking us about either renting a car or picking the best jazz club!
We do sell tours to Auschwitz, Wieliczka Salt Mine and many many more!

We guarantee that a dance club doesn't find itself beneath the floor of your hostel room, as it does in many of Krakow's tenement buildings, and outside the window you won't see a swarm of loud partiers. The building is equipped with monitoring, extra safety precautions, and is protected by a security service - you can sleep assured.

What's most important, is that DDD is a hostel with particularly attractive rates. Visit us then, visit one of the oldest* and most established hostels in Krakow.

*Dizzy Daisy Downtown was established in 2004 as the third year-round hostel in Krakow.

In order to secure your booking, the property reserves the right to pre-authorise your credit card prior to arrival. So please make sure you have enough funds on the used card! If a pre-authorisation fails, the property will ask you to provide new card details within 24 hours. If you don't do so, the property will cancel your reservation!

Location isn’t the great in krakow, but you can walk to the city centre in 10 minutes. The kitchen is amazing, big and clean. The communal are clean and spacious. Our private room was on the top floor but unfortunately they didn’t have a lift. The room was amazing for what we paid, a private room for $20 with 2 beds. It was clean, nice spacious and worth every penny. It’s a small walk to the main square but it’s worth it for the peace and quiet. Amazing hostel , I’ll be staying here again.

Super place, really friendly ,we had a Double room while my kids had a Twin , not on the same floor but the boys quickly got over that. My Dounle room was lovely particularly the ceiling it was lovely brick with lovely hanging lights. The plug in heater was on on our arrival which was a nice touch. Only had two pillows one each I requested two more which wasnt a problem. Many thanks great place to stay.

An excellent hostel for travelers also looking for a place to work from. Good location close to the old city and not far from the university. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and a very relaxed atmosphere.

Very quiet (maybe too much?)/ Definitely not a party hostel, but still there are facilities (both indoor and outdoor) to socialize. Great cleanliness and also good location, a 10-minute walk to the main square. I would't describe the staff as super friendly but they are definitely helpful (they helped me out a couple of day BEFORE I got there to book my trip to Auschwitz). Also, I could borrow a towel and the hair dryer for free, and this, at least for me, is a big plus when it comes to hostels.

    Very Good

Hear me out. The staff is suuuper helpful and kind, the common space is great, but I have never slept so terribly. The floors and beds are SOOO CREAKY. It’s insane. There are just way too many people sleeping in the dorm rooms, too. People got mad at each other because of being woken up constantly. The staff is so great, but I do NOT RECOMMEND staying here. You will get terrrrrible sleep and the vibe was weird. Lots of people 40-60 yr old people and a bunch of kids staying upstairs.

Pretty building , but absolutely crap internet. Really hard to try to connect to business meetings or try to research trip plans from the rooms. You have to sit near reception in order to get super slow and glitchy internet.
