    Superb

Excellent place to stay. I originally booked a different hostel that apparently was infested with bedbugs, and the weekend prior I stayed in a hostel in Munich with bedbugs so I was honestly losing hope in the cleanliness of hostels. But I booked 'Do Step Inn' because it was ranked the third best hostel in Vienna. Wonderful place to stay, my first hostel ever. It was clean and safe, I roomed with someone who had been staying in the hostel for 2 months already so I could trust the cleanliness.

Everything about the hostel was great, but my main gripe was that the rooms were small with and it was difficult to move between the beds. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great. My room was on the third floor and there was no elevator to help with my heavy luggage.

For a short stay, it's very good. Clean rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, although it gets somewhat warm in the lower rooms at least in summer. Would have wanted some light breakfast option with the amount paid for the late room tariff. Just a suggestion, it helps.

Would not come back. Really weird atmosphere with an overall strange clientele (Old drunk men). It's got all the potential to be a cool hostel with a pool table, outdoor chess, a cool bar, good staff and a cool building but there's absolutely nothing going on and no apparent efforts to make the place fun.

    Good

The hostel has two parts: the main part (which is nice) and a second part down the street where most of the hostel dorms are located. Honestly, for a hostel costing as much as this one, I expected A LOT more. The sheets were ridiculously small for the beds and the included towels were basically hand rags. During the middle of the night I had to go the bathroom. In the dark, I accidentally keyed into the room next to mine, and not my own - AND MY KEY WORKED. This is a huge security concern

Stuff was a bit rude. They didn’t show me the facilities. My room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator). Extra tourist fee that was not included in my booking. Bedsheets were smaller than the bed. Extra charge to buy a padlock for the locker (no receipt was given). Kind cleaning lady.

Would never stay here again and would never reccomend to anyone. The place was full of old creepy drunk men who seem to be staying long term. One came back to the room smelly and drunk yelling and talking to himself and then tried to get in to someone else's bed after thinking it was his own. Reception were understanding when I complained however the place was full and I couldn't change rooms until the second night.
