The breakfast was outstanding and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I can honestly say it was one of the best hostel experiences I have had. 10/10 for sure.

Had a great one-night stay here! Close to the train station and bus stations. Was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Upon hearing that we had an early bus to Machu Picchu the next morning, they brought us our breakfast the night before - which was so nice! The only downside is that the walls were pretty thin, so you could hear a lot fo street and party noise and my friends had a hard time falling asleep. But I had earplugs and slept just fine. Would recommend.

Central place to stay in Aguas Calientes for a night or two. I booked a 4-bed dorm and was put in a 3-bed room (no bunks!) with private bathroom (towel + soap provided) located off the reception/dining area (so no stairs to climb but you do get a little noise from people passing through and dining in the morning). The bed was super comfortable and warm. The manager is lovely and speaks excellent English. Breakfast was great with bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea and yoghurt available from 5am.

Buena ubicación y el staff muy amable! Tenía que salir a las 5:00 am para Machu Picchu y Julio amablemente puso el desayuno desde las 4:30 am. Agua caliente en las duchas y te dan toalla y jabón. Todo muy bien para el precio!

Just a bed and a bathroom. For the price this is all I was expecting. Manager was very helpful and ensured I avoided a horror story with my Machu Picchu ticket. Wifi was inconsistent and would cut out constantly, however, I suspect this is more of a problem with Aguas Calientes in general. I was also a little concerned with lack of security. Room was not secure and no lock box available. But Aguas Calientes feels very safe and I had no issues. If you're on a budget this is a good option.

    Very Good

Like a few of the other reviews say on here, we were also taken to another hostel on our arrival at 'Don Andre'. Owned by the same people I think, but definitely a different place. The hostel we were taken to was fine for a one night stay. They gave us a pre packed meal for breakfast for the next day, as we left early for Machu Picchu. The shower had hot water and they stored our bags for us whilst we were at Machu Picchu. The owners were also very nice and helpful through out our stay.

    Very Good

I was taken to a different hostel that I believe was owned by this property’s sister or brother and was actually called killa hostel. It was pretty new, clean and the owner was nice. He packed us breakfasts before going to Machu Picchu. It is very cost efficient, but no atmosphere so definitely good if you just want a bed. There is no common room, which was my main drawback

The staff is very friendly, they received us at the train station, we reserved a shared room but they gave us a private room, they keep our stuff during the day of the visit of Machu Picchu. On the other hand, there is only one bathroom for every guests in the hostel, the water was cold at first in the shower and the reception is not available 24h. But they are clearly making an effort to improve the hostel conditions.

**BE AWARE** This posting is being used for at least two separate locations/hostels. Owners scamming to use good ratings at Don Andre. After booking, I was emailed the address of a completely separate location that did not match the description or photos of this posting. The second location was clean enough but had literally no security (door to hostel left wide open all hours), was very loud with people leaving early (3-4am) / located on a busy street, and the beds were SUPER uncomfortable.
