Nice clean sheets, welcoming staff, considerate folk in the room of 8, coming and going quietly when others were sleeping. On the flip side.. mattress was lumpy and it’s on a main road so really noisy at night, even with earplugs, , especially loud when sleeping next to an open window (necessary in the summer). Weirdly some of the WCs don’t have handbasins so have to wash hands in kitchen. Fine for a short stay at a low price.

Very nice welcome from then staff, felt safe locking and leaving my stuff. A very old building, you get what you paid for here and not much else. Breakfast was cereal and toast mostly. I DO NOT recommend staying here if you’re in actual need of sleep, I was sleeping in room 1 above the bar and the music was blasting well into the night. (Maybe book the 6 people bunk so you’re on a higher floor? ) Towels and lockers for rent with a £5 deposit each. For low budget explorers looking to go dancing.

The staff were amazing and the drinks were cheap. This hostel had a really relaxed atmosphere, nice cooking facilities and cheap laundry. Only complaints were the showers being somewhat dirty and that you had to pay to use the security lockers. But all round a nice place to be.

Clean showers, bathrooms and dorms. Friendly staff (they hold bags at reception if you need and are happy to give you directions). Super good location, close to London Bridge and the city. Not a super sociable hostel but I still met some nice people. Free brekky. Cons: you have to pay for lockers, no wifi on top floor and door weren't usually locked.

This hostel is exactly what you would expect for this price. Not a big deal since we weren’t there except to sleep and shower, good location

Cheap place for a few nights' sleep, but nothing special. PROS: friendly staff, free breakfast (cereal, toast, coffee, tea), steps away from the Tube, secure entry. CONS: Very old building so it didn't feel clean even if it was. Stayed in a dorm with 10 beds - really tight space, no lockers in the room (available for rent in the hallway), power strips by the beds, very warm for September nights. Would stay again only if I'm on a tight budget.

you get what u pay for, offered free breakfast which was good but the rooms didn't have any ventilation and the bathrooms were at times 2 between 35+ which was not good. Wi-Fi did not reach the top floor and was very slow. the atmosphere wasn't the best for meeting people. location was close to some bus stops and a tube stop as well as being a short walk from London bridge.

Very hot and poorly ventilated. Hygiene wasn't great, at least I did not see or hear of bed bugs. Security was an issue I rang ahead about somewhere with an immovable object to lock a >£1000 road bike. I was told I could do this in the basement. There was a ladder I could only just got a lock around. This is the room where all the suitcases etc go. It's next to the reception desk; I don't know how often someone is on the desk.
