What an amazing place. I loved the laid back vibe and welcoming staff here. They went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. Everything was very clean and the bonfire was amazing. Memories for the times. Thanks legends!

Tom is an incredible guy and went way out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The hostel is in the middle of nowhere (but a very pretty place in the middle of nowhere), but so is Plitvice. You can not beat the price we paid. And the fire pit is a huge selling point. The best part about this place was Tom, you will love him. This is a rural experience, so your night here will be centered at the hostel, not the surrounding area. We really liked it as a change of pace from the city hostels

Great atmosphere and also a relaxing place to break from cities. Campfire in the back for hanging out, and really helpful staff. Room was clean and the bathrooms were nice.

This hostel is at the beginning of his change. So I’ll focus more on this what will sustain: the atmosphere was very welcoming and open-minded. In the kitchen and the living room there were always people to talk to. Especially in the evening around the bonfire. The owner Andrea is doing an amazing job to manage everything (eg a transfer to the Plitvice Lakes or the zip line). Talking to him is very inspiring and funny. He always ensures that his guests have a comfortable and nice stay.

Outdoor couches and a bonfire every night make for a great atmosphere. Definitely worth staying a night on your way to the lakes

It’s a good hub for a day trip to Plitvice. The train between split and Zagreb stops 3 minutes up the road. They offer a shuttle to the park for 60 kuna each way. There’s a great dinner offering from a chef nearby for 60-70 kuna a plate, or there’s a store down the street with some basic ingredients to buy. There’s an ATM in town. Bathrooms are a bit limited, but I never waited more than a few minutes. We had a private room. Decor is still from the 70s, but as far as hostels go, it was fine!

    Fabulous

We arrived in the middle of the night and the place was a bit difficult to find. There was no sign on the door or anything to indicate the building was a hostel so we were nervous to walk in the freely. There was no one working at reception and they did not tell us what room we had so we just slept in a random room which was fine in the end. The shuttle service to Plitvice was a huge plus and the room itself was nice and clean.

The staff at this hostel were great - very friendly and they gave us a private room for no extra charge as there was a large scout group in the dorms. Otherwise the hostel was disappointing: the shared kitchen was too small for the number of people staying and smelled like someone had smoked inside. Lots of things were broken (toilet seats, locks on toilet doors) and the kitchen and bathrooms weren't clean.

The staff at this hostel were friendly, but everything else was disappointing. The kitchen is very dirty, and many of the appliances don't work. The sheets on our bed were damp, and the room was cold. I used three of the extra blankets and was still a little cold during the night. Getting to the hostel is hard - no buses stop in the town, and the trains are mostly overnight. It is a 40-minute drive to Plitvice, and they charge about ten euros for the shuttle. Choose a different hostel.
