Property Description

Welcome,

We are in the early stages of setting and running our Secret Beach Hostel, Bungalows, Bar & Restaurant on a beautiful, untouched, private and secluded 2km long beach. The beach backs onto what seems like endless, untouched jungles for you to explore, as over 95% of the island is completely undeveloped.

Other Things:
- We are lucky to have *Bioluminescent Plankton* in the water every night. All you need to do is go into the water and you will see things glowing everywhere. However, when the moon gets close to full, you may have to go deeper into the ocean to see it due to the large amount of light from the moon.

More things:
- As no humans have stayed here for a very long time (no buildings, no people, no anything), there is an incredible amount of wild life in the jungle and on the beach. You will definitely see a lot of hermit crabs, normal crabs, lizards, and small animals and maybe even monkeys if you are lucky and observant.

- The water here is incredibly clean and clear! There are also thousands of little fish hanging around the pier at all times as well as a lot of jumping fish around.

PS. We have NO Wi-Fi, internet, or ATMS here. We encourage people who are looking for a retreat/escape from the modern world to come and join us in Paradise. View House Rules

Yes there are rats but you have to expect that as you’re living in a bamboo hut in the jungle. Don’t take food in the dorms!! If you can live happily with basic facilities then you’ll love it! Family dinner is really nice and food menu throughout the day has a good selection. Private beach is amazing but would be good if hostel did beach clean ups as it has a lot of trash on. Dorm rooms and bathrooms were quite dirty and definitely not regularly cleaned. A good experience of ‘back to basics’.

Upon arrival I briefly read the reviews of this establishment and they definetly lived up to the expectations of what I saw, don't get me wrong the staff are friendly but I shouldn't feel a burden when asking for a beer when they are balls deep into their book. The location is great but I had to move after one night due to being joined in bed not by a sexy mermaid but a evil wee creepy mouse shagging . All in all I didn't pay . Get it round yees

THE WORST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. DO NOT STAY HERE. The dorms are absolutely filthy. There was a used condom underneath my bed, not to mention the rat droppings EVERYWHERE. Many other guests had their bags chewed through by rats. When we informed the staff of the state of the dorms and the rat sightings, they thought it was amusing and told us to leave a comment in their visitor book. To make matters worse, they incorrectly charged us for our food. DO NOT STAY HERE
