An excellent hostel, 15 minutes walk from the station. The dorms all have privacy curtains and personal lockers. The free breakfast and shower facilities are great!

Great communal facilities though didn't seem to be much socialising between the different travellers.

Great spot. Great common area with breakfast, coffee, and good atmosphere. Great place to get some work done if you need to! Bathrooms were clean, beds were very comfortable, and staff provide a whole bunch of recommendations on the board in the entrance. Location is a bit removed from the center but conveniently only a 10 minute walk to Osaka station (or 2 min from Fukushima). LOTS of cozy restaurants near the hostel.

The room was good, lots of privacy with the curtains around each bed. There was no locker space but shelves on your bed for valuable items. The shower facilities were great, with shampoo, conditioner and soap all provided and really good quality hair dryers. I would definitely recommend the DropInn. It isn't far away from the station and we had a really pleasant stay here.

    Very Good

-Convenient location next to the station - Was annoying that there was no place under the beds to store my luggage. - I come from Europe so I need an adapter to charge my phone. With the plug system the hostel has, I could not have lamp switched on and charge phone at the same time. - Not enough showers for such a big hostel. Always had a queue. It’s not convenient to hang your clothes/towel there. - Half of the staff never greeted me and once they looked annoyed when I asked for directions

This hostel was rated really high which is why i stayed but it is a 12 min walk from Osaka station which means you end up trekking across the city (45 min) for the culture and foodie areas. The facilities were good but again staying in a large dormitory of 30 people has its drawbacks. The is a great common area, which is relaxing and quiet.
