Hostel was super conveniently located within 10-15 from Ōsaka station. Staff are super friendly and facility clean. We stayed in a private room which was just enough for us. I’ll definitely stay here whenever I’m in the area.

Drop Inn Osaka is a great place to hang out, thanks to the spacious common room that is nicely decorated (Japanese style tables and western style tables available). The staff we really helpful and gave us a perfect tip to eat okonomiyaki - thank you, Meg! If you are planning to go to the airport from DIO, it takes you about an hour without having to transfer - very convenient. Free breakfast is definitely a huge plus.

Drop Inn was good for a short stay. Thin mattresses but that is pretty standard in Japan. Everything was clean and rooms have a code to get in as well as a private lock box with each bed. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Staff was friendly and allowed late check in easily with no extra charge. Sent an email since our flight was delayed and we would be getting in later and they sent us the code quickly and easily. Great location close to the station.

Keep sensitive items on you at all times (cash, wallet, credit cards, passport, etc) aside from that; awesome location, awesome staff, great atmosphere. The ramen shop next door is a Must have (try all 3 broths).

    Very Good

Firstly, I was over-charged compared to the price agreed through the site (e.g. had agreed to pay 10,000 Yen on arrival, but was charged 11600 Yen). They also charged my friends 500Yen per person to leave their luggage at the hostel on the final day after 5pm (so ensure you say all luggage is one persons'). The breakfast is free, but only basic coffee/tea/cheap carrot juice with toast and jam. However, as just a hostel, it's quite good, but not compared to others in e.g. kyoto,
